Once again, Ethereum showed how little he needs to regain his position. I am sure this is a very good sign, such a rapid growth for such a fundamental coin.

I do not question the position held by ethereum. if ethereum is second or third and fourth. I think the ethereum electability as a coin that has high public trust is the main point. when ethereum has a good market share, so long as ethereum will survive as a coin that has potential in the future. For me ethereum remains the best altcoin, many platforms exist and this is ethereum's main capital to maintain its existence.

yeah i think is not hard for ethereum take back in no2, because everytime i see pump eth price increase are higher then ripple or it just my assumption.

It is natural that the trading volume competition between ethereum and ripple is always competitive because both have a very strong platform and many are used for trading on the exchange, so ethereum can enter rank 2 probably won't last long because ripple will definitely try to beat again.

Well, I do not think that we can now break through the resistance line at Ethereum and go to grow, yet a lot of sellers now , I think by the end of the year there will be a bullish market

I think it's irrelevant which coin is number 2 in cap. ETH and XRP are both very solid coins and can expect to be the top two alts for some time to come.
The important thing for me is if one of them ever overtakes BTC as number one in cap. For a lot of people, BTC=crypto... and if this changes it will mark a real milestone in crypto development.

eth deserved to be in the 2nd position after all it adds a lot of money in the crypto marketcap due to the ICO that keeps coming. there are no news about XRP today that I know of. they normally publish a lot of their aka good news but every time it goes out in the article sites the token is being dumped more. price of eth isnt really spiking sharply but it moves up.

Why are the names repeated in Name column ?

It's good to see that there is a short gain in bitcoin's and ether's price but we don't know how long the gains will last.
I can't really say about XRP but I can place my bets on ether and bitcoin that it will definitely be at a better price by the end of this year.

There's no surprises here. Ethereum should to be the top altcoins and due to the recent bearish trend, it slid past to number 3 and Ethereum and XRP has been battling it out for the 2nd spot ever since. What happen though is that the continues dump of projects and bounty hunters causes it to lost so much value but I still believed that this is just temporary and once another bull cycle started, Ethereum will go back to the number 2 spot, no questions about that.

Ethereum is sure a token to be followed, but it is not time to celebrate yet base on the difference with ripple, let look at ETH better when the hardfork takes place the difference might be obvious, base on it use sure it is a token with a viable project.

Most of the ICOs are being launched on Ethereum blockchain, Ethereum network is faster than BTC, ETH is also widely accepted, it is undoubtedly a potential coin. Ethereum price is trading at $120 today which is more than 10 folds down from its all time high, it may bounce back with the same speed once bull run begins. I see ETH as nearest competitor to BTC.

After the drastic down turn of cryptocurrency i had to hold my Ethereum tight in my wallet to await the recovering mode of cryptocurrency in full status before i sell out my entire wallet.
