       It was logical that ETH would go up again in second place, because it is a very strong altcoins. Ethereum also influences the price of other coins, and this looks like a strong currency. Yeah, it's back to the second place, but the ETH position is still very unstable. I guess XRP and ETH will divide the second place between each other for a long time. But perhaps TON will take 2nd place after the release, we'll see.

I believe this position switch and  swinging could continue between XRP and ETH for the considerable future until at least the market returns to its normal shape. Overall, Ethereum will come on top since it is relatively more trusted and used than XRP. Ethereum market cap will likely be more stable than that of XRP unless something more profound happens to XRP.

Once again ethereum has reached its position back overcoming the market volume of xrp. I believe the growth of ethereum will continue, and will sustain for a long as the market leader for the altcoins in the market. Some has speculated that BNB will reach the top list in the short. I don't think it isn't gonna happen in the short or in the future. BNB will progress high, but won't take the position of ethereum.

No one doubts the ability of the performance of the team and community ethereum. they are very tough, although the market was bad but they now prove if they can fight the market and survive to recover its position.

I think it's irrelevant which coin is number 2 in cap. ETH and XRP are both very solid coins and can expect to be the top two alts for some time to come.
The important thing for me is if one of them ever overtakes BTC as number one in cap. For a lot of people, BTC=crypto... and if this changes it will mark a real milestone in crypto development.

Now, of course, it does not matter much, since the difference in the level of capitalization between ethereum and ripple was and remains insignificant. I wouldn't be that excited about that. It doesn't mean that now eth will be there forever. XRP is still very strong project and I suppose it won't give up the second place without fight. By the way the current difference between their caps is tiny.
