Same here , a win now will almost confirm a spot for playoffs for MI so I guess they will do everything to win this one. It's right fight for 4th spot though.

I bet on CSK and I am confident that they will win comfortably even though MI have been playing brilliantly in recent times. CSK will be aiming to stay at the top under MSD, but their future games might be tricky without Faf and Tahir.

But other team will also lose some more players which is why CSK will still be the best, they still will have left some brilliant players in their team. However, I don't think CSK will win today. MI has the most chance.

@Pffrt - We've got both at 1.99 currently so it's looking too close to call at the moment.

I've gone with CSK today despite MI being my favourite team. Superkings bowlers have been on fire of late, and I think the MI batsmen are going to struggle today.

Do any of the users here think that RCB will be able to qualify for the playoffs? A few days back I would have laughed at anyone who would tell this to me. But their recent form has been nothing short of a miracle. If they win all their remaining matches, then they will be left with 14 points and I hope that will be able to propel them to the playoffs. Their remaining matches are against RR, DC and SRH. But they need to win 3/3. If they lose any of those matches, then they are out of the tournament.

I have been saying from the beginning that Kohli never backs down no matter what which is why I expected them to recover, but I still think their chances of qualifying are minimal. These teams need to win their remaining matches and depend on the losses of other teams up the ladder:

Agreed, for this reason only Dhoni could have taken rest leaving the responsibility to Raina. Today's pick will be surely MI, because same as this earlier CSK lost a match. Today MI seems strong as they've lost a wicket and has scored 84 in ten overs. With this run rate surely today a target above 200 will be set for CSK.

I don't think they are lying, but the actual reason behind MSD skipping could be because he does not want to keep too much pressure on his back so that it would not become an hindrance during the upcoming World cup.

I still think CSK will pull through since they have many capable batsmen in their team who can win matches on their own sometimes.

That's truth and as I said CSK unable to win the match without Dhoni in last two matches captained by Raina. They are good enough to play the match but the truth is captaincy cannot be done well expect dhoni for Chennai as well as for Team India.

May be FAF will be off for next matches due to world cup preparation.

I still hope RCB might bounce back in the remaining matches as well after watching their recent performance.MI played really well and absence od Dhoni again troubled CSK batting lineup and ended up in chaos at the middle overs.And also the pitch can be a reason as well which behaved like a good batting track on the first 10 overs of MI innings but later turned into a nightmare for batsmen to play on.

Ms Dhoni is the spinal cord of CSK and I was not surprised when CSK began to crumble, I knew his absence would hurt them bad. Well it’s simple Ms Dhoni plays with his emotions and his experience, no one in CSK can read the game like he does or motivate them as he’s able to do. I am expecting Delhi and Mumbai to qualify our attention now needs to shift on who’s going to qualify for the fourth spot.
