fraudsters are always looking for new ways to do their actions, if investors are not careful and do not want to check, lazy to contact the authorities, this can be a good opportunity for fraudsters to carry out their actions by making fake ICO.

Without a doubt, ISO is an excellent mechanism for honest and talented developers. Fraud is difficult to completely eradicate. But the crypto community will handle it in the future. Investors have too few opportunities to test the ICO team and its project. Therefore, no matter how much potential investors try to test the ICO team for the possibility of fraud, in many cases this possibility will remain the same. Only government regulation of ICO activities can have a positive effect. It is government agencies that are well placed to prevent fraud and punish the perpetrators if they occur. Taking other measures will not have the desired effect.

There are ICO scams but let us not exclude that there are also genuine ICOs that fails. I've known genuine projects that held ICOs, been listed in exchanges but then at the end the whole project in which the coins are being based and used did not become successful so the token holders did eventually lose. True, investors now are more careful and more vigilant compared before but the disadvantage I see with some ICO tokens is not all of them get a good value after they been listed in exchanges.

Now the attention of all investors will be switched to ICO, held on large stock exchanges because they collect investments in a short period of time. I like it, because I have a guarantee not to be deceived by fraudsters.
However, it is frustrating that now conventional ICOs will lose even more investor interest.

Before ICOs can come back to the way it were in 2017, some regulations should be done or added to how they operate to help eliminate all potential scam projects. I like how BNB busted the bubble that the ICO thing was a success because of decentralization - centralized BNB has even more hyped up ICO-s.
And that's alright, decentralization is only a tool for censorship and fraud resistance, and there's plenty of occasions where it isn't needed.

You are absolutely right mate! This year I haven't seen any scam ICO yet, people are very aware of investing money in ICOs. This is really a good thing for the crypto community. BTT, Ftec ICO was sold out within a few minutes, that was possible because of Binance! Right now, most of the legit ICOs are going for IEO except ICO or STO! Though the bear market really impacts badly on ICO market, yet, yes it will be survived for sure.

In my opinion, ICO's are not worth making a substantial investment due to the inherent risk of buying at a much lesser price when the coin eventually gets listed.
There's also the possibility of the ICO not being successful due to terrible situation of the market, which has made it difficult for softcap to be met.

how much interest will depend on our analyzation, i have seen bittorrent and fetch.ai and i regret it because why there was a limitation for each participant in the ico. i wanna invest more money and a good platform will give us a huge interest with it.
