of course nobody wants to lose money for the scam project, investors should more careful to invest. They should keep visiting here in the forum because someone share the scam ICO or give us warning.

After several investors became victims, they are now more careful to join the ico, even though in 2017 there were many investors who benefited, only in 2018 there were many scammers who made fake ico so that the victims were investors.

Investors are avoiding ICOs nowadays that is why majority of them failed last 2018 which is unhealthy for crypto. That is why a new trend is popping out which is IEO. Imagine if big exchange such as binance will be uses for IEO of course they will not allow a scam project to use their platform. Problem solved.

i am not so sure that ICO will survive and have a big change, because now we can see investors is running out of ICO.
Investors is more like STO in this time because they take profit from there.
cryptocurrency die in 2018 and have a big impact on ICO.
STO birth and take all investor, that what i mean.

You mean that devs released ieo in order to save the state of cryptos ? Hmmm.  You maybe right but i dont think that cryptos are dying .  the decline of the price is pretty normal and if the price goes down , that does not mean that the crypto will now end or now close to their end .  the decline was only caused by sellers who sold thief coins for cash and it maybe also caused by pure manipulation  . and i dont think that ico's are also dying  . not all ico  are scams  . some ico are legit and can still recieve some investors   .

ICO is no longer valuable and most people have left this investment channel to invest in IEO or STO projects because it offers very good liquidity for all participants. I think ICO has existed in the market for 2 years now and this should be the end of ICO. What makes ICO projects encounter many failures is because the development team does not keep the promise and it affects all potential projects so don't invest in ICO this year.

I don't believe in any ico because most ico are scam, only the project with solid foundation will survive even with this market issues.i so much believe in project without ico they always make much sense (project like mxc, muzika, and many others. The fact that ico will survive is 50/50. Because some just gang up to build a coin without being well planned, so for me ico is nothing than a useless stuff.

This is a good point of yours. Since a lot of scammers have been already done with the ICOs (because they are not getting money from it anymore), they might stop doing it and proceed with other things to do. And hereon, the ICO will thrive again and will be popular again in the coming time.

Live for the moment.

ICOs still have a chance of surviving but this time around only legitimate projects and those that are actually serious in coming out with a product and not the usual pump and dump that we have been seeing since 2017. These days i think it is way better to invest your time and money into ICOs whose team is actually working to come out with some working tool or better still have one already in place. This shows serious committment on the part of the team and not some scammers who just crawl out of any cave just to deceive people and take away their hard earned funds without coming out with absolutely nothing.

I think if the ICO was a good project, I am sure that they can survive this year. But we do not see that many of them can do that because people are already tired with the ICO and they prefer to search the other way to make a profit. What the investor wants is to make a profit in many ways, and they will not invest in the scam project because they already have a bad experience before. They will only invest in a good project. So if the ICO wants to survive, the project needs to continue their plan and make changes if it's necessary.

Chances for scammers to give up is more smaller than inspiring investors to join such ico projects, there would be some good project to be raise out around the market but it's really a very hard journey to gather support from dying believers of this investment venues, there's a lots of consideration being made before finding the right one for you.

At the end of 2018, there were many scams that made investors no longer trust ICO. This made ICO really like dead because no one dared to risk the investment again. Many other forms of capital mobilization are opened as the IEO makes them feel much safer.

ICOs have already survived, not only did IEO show crazy demand, so even ICOs undergoing now collect funds in a few minutes, for example, the Unification project collected a hard cap in 2 minutes.

I think the most ICO scam times are at the end of 2017 and early 2018. At that time ICO was really a center to attract investors, but during the downtrend, the market has automatically eliminated scam projects and poor quality

in this case, ICO certainly still has a great opportunity to survive. in fact, there are quite a number of projects that have passed the softcap period, or have even reached their hardcap. it all depends on the concept, and the developer's strategy.

We have now the new way of token sale it is called initial exchange offering(IEO). But for my own opinion ICO will not be obsolete since there are still best project who can carry a large number of sales just without the help of exchange advertisement. They proving how big the company,

You are right, they still have, especially with the new wave of hype around IEOs. It seems like IEOs have found the major problem of all projects and this is the exchange listing. People are ready to invest and it is an awesome sign.

just a reminder, in April 2018 I saw circulating in the market cryptocurrencies around 2000+ coins, and in April 2019 there were 5000+ crypto coin circulating in the market.  from here I can ensure that the ICO will continue to exist, survive and will continue to be profitable even though prices are volatile.

2018 many ICOs have been reported as SCAM projects. this year investors are very careful about investing, especially on projects that are suspected. if this year there are still many ICOs who commit fraud I am sure investors will be reluctant to invest. there must be regulations that guarantee that ICOs who really want to build new industries have the opportunity to raise funds. so that in the future ICO can survive.

ICO gradually are becoming outdated especially with a new innovation called IEO. Many however are very much interested in exploring this new concept making every means available for profit actualization.

Most of the ICOs were not have so many ideas so they just copycat other projects and they tried to claim if they were the original and the uniquest one.
