Na government decision be that, before them make that decision, one or two committees don sit down weigh the matter well. All of them no go make mistakes at the same time.

Why many Nigerians are very quick to disapprove of any move made by the government is because of the lack of trust in their motives which most times as we have seen in recent times is usually more for personal gain than the benefit of Nigerians. If the process to redesigning this our currency is free and void of theft and falsification of figures, the benefits would have been what is more talked about. We are afraid that these people are fashioning ways to get more money from the country since they know that they are on their way out and maybe they're just doing so smartly through the Central Bank.

Rebranding na the first step for a currency regaining its value. You no fit expect a currency with old identity to attract investors. E just dey like if you wan change your reputation, you go fit change how people dey see you before anything else. The issue now be say, after them change the appearance, dem go gree continue with the rebranding and improving other sectors wey go help strength the currency. Will the next president coming in put in things inorder to help revive the currency? Who knows maybe this na good thing and the presidency believe in the next coming president to help stabilize the naira.

Make I also let una know one thing wey rebranding of a currency dey do, e dey make all those politicians wey hide money for tanks, underground etc to bring out their money and spent (invest) or put am for bank so dem no go lose and for anyone wey been dun thief money atleast e go dey easier now to track immediately them put the money for Bank. If them like make them rebrand from here to Jamaica, if insecurity is not tackled and local production of consumable items encouraged nothing good go happen. Naira go still deh fall go. You no talk anything convincing for this ina post. Una suppose tell us why u think say wetin he talk is right or wrong. Which first world countries dey do am as we dey do? We learn everything from them but na something else we dey do because of wayo. Them talk say the cash wey dey circulation dey small pass wetin they expect but say na me or you keep am? sebi na them and na because of politics and election but why na now they wan do am? we also know say no be small money dey go use. After this, they should also encourage cashless transactions. The amount of cash in circulation doesn't really need to be that large.
