Denmark reached the EURO 2020 semi final after a horror start, Eriksen cardiac arrest just might be the blessing in disguise which Denmark so dearly needed. Indeed this is beautiful, Denmark lost their first two games but now in the top 4. Absolutely they can reach the final though, a perfect EURO glory!

I admit Denmark played very well and compactly without Eriksen and reached the semifinals which will meet England later, but England is not an easy opponent for Denmark who have not conceded a goal at Euro 2020 plus Harry Kane is already at his best level.
and the most exciting match in the semifinals is Italy vs Spain which I think Italy will be more seeded than most people and stronger than Spain.

This is the best offering for Denmark for Eriksen because they have advanced to the semifinals how happy eriksen is to see his national team have reached a high peak and one more target they are aiming for is the final even though it is said it is very difficult to face England but in football everything can change with the score thick.

Eriksen has retired early due to a heart attack but he has given his best in playing football so far this is a final and very valuable tribute to him.

Tomorrow, Italy vs Spain, there will be a surprise and who deserves to advance to the final.

This is also where I ask myself how it is even possible that the UEFA decides to give so many home games to England. Is that somehow a political decision? Are there things involved the public doesn't know about? This was a championship that was meant to be distributed all over England and even given that England is currently most affected by Corona, the UEFA sticked to their decisions.

I think it was decided in advance. After all, there were 11 home cities during this Euro so a lot of countries did have home advantage - it isn't fair to say that only England was given that luxury. For example, England played their quarterfinal game vs Ukraine in Rome and still won confidently.

I agree that the whole Euro was unfair towards a lot of countries but we're lucky that it happened, so I'll let this one slide. After all, the games are decided at the pitch itself and England did deserve this semifinal.

Yes it was certainly decided in advance but we also have a crisis situation don't we? Apart from the fact that England now has two how games literally, we also have the virus. I ask myself what would the UEFA have done if the death statistics totally went through the roof like four weeks ago? The problem is that today there is so much money and politics involved that these institutions can't make humane decisions anymore. Two examples: You probably recall the bomb attack on Borussia Dortmund before their CL game back then. Jesus Christ, these guys thought after the bombs exploded that terrorists will come with machine guns and shoot them!!! How can you play the next day? You are out of your mind for sure. But the UEFA said the party has to go on or you lose 3:0 on the green table. Second example with the Danish player, how is it humanly possible for the team to deliver a normal game while it is uncertain whether your just dead and revived friend might still die? I wish there was more space for humane decisions and I am absolutely sure that all the spectators would have stand still and quiet in the stadium praying for that player while the game would have been discontinued. That would have been the right decisions. How does it feel for the audience to raise their arms and scream out of joy about a good action of their team while a team mate just died for a moment on the pitch?

Sorry for the off-topic post, but it just fit into the context when it comes to the UEFA making decisions.

Italy continues to undefeated . In the last matches he played, he only saw 6 goals in his goal. 4 of them are in the European Cup qualifiers and 2 of them are in the European championship. They continue to play great. My biggest favorite for the championship is Italy.

Yes, Eriksen has recovered and is currently recovering but not sure if he can play or not

Denmark the only unseeded at the start so that when they reach the semifinals then there is no mental burden like the other 3 teams

He was dismissed from hospital 2 weeks ago after the implantation of a pace maker for arrhythmia. I doubt he could continue his career as a football professional player. I think it is the end of the line for him. Denmark is kind of playing and winning for him.

I'm not a Denmark fan but I feel that Denmark will make a surprise there somehow I don't know  , I also don't take the risk to bet 1x2 including for the match Spain vs Italy
The best and safest option I think is on both teams to score like in the last quarter-final match there were a lot of both teams to score

I don't know if people are seeing what I'm seeing in this tournament,that England is not that England before. They have another momentum altogether,a winning spirit and mentality they carry into every single game they play.collectively and in one spirit they play and win,from the defence line to the front line,they are exceptional.They have the most solid defence in the tournament,and that is a major reason why they will win the tournament.Like I said before,that England vs Italy I see at the final,and thereafter,England emerging to be the champions.

Even i did not expect these sort of performance from England and i would never give them a chance to win the tournament but coming down to the last stretch it looks like they are the favorites to win the tournament after a long time, because i have no idea when they won a Euro cup last.
If England play like this for the next two matches they are the champions.

I see Italy getting a lot of support from outside fans  yes it's only natural because so far they are playing pretty well and convincing
But if we talk about luck then italy can go home empty handed  because there is no benchmark for luck, anyone has the opportunity to get it

I wonder what games you have seen. Some of the teams you listed were very deservedly eliminated. The Netherlands showed one good game, the others were not good. The same with Germany. Germany won only one out of four games and got seven counters. Beyond that, only the game against Portugal was halfway good. No doubt these are great football nations, but they deserved to be eliminated.

We still have strong teams like England and Italy and I think the winner will come from thai side of the semi's. England has been very impressive in this tourney like in their last game, not conceding any goals. That's quite a record right there and Harry Kane is very confident as you can see I. The way he plays.

This isn't affecting only only Kane but all england squad are they're hyped and ready the bring the trophy home. The England squad is complete currently like they have all aspects checked out for. The strikers, defender etc are very smart provided you scarified yourself for the greatest good

This, I'm with you in that case.

The only team which performed as expected was France in my eyes. But they were very unlucky and I guess no one expected Switzerland to win after that wonderful 3-1 from Pogba.
This is the perfect example how strong the will to create or achieve something can be.. So it's kind of their own fault, too, because they didn't raise exactly that, unlike Switzerland.

Thats pretty harsh, Netherlands won 3 group stage matches and scored 8 goals. Thats pretty solid but Czech Republic beat them in the playoff, well they were playing with 10 players so yeah Czech took a good advantage of that

when England only conceded 1 goal and of course this will be a new record in the euro competition, namely as a team that has conceded minimal goals.

England has been keeping their clean sheet record for the entire Euro, so far there is none that has scored any goal towards England.

England defenders who are quite calm and solid in anticipating the opponent's attack are the main factors that make England one of the candidates for this year championship.

Its pretty even between Italy, Spain and England but Denmark could be the dark horse for Euro. Denmark has been great so far in the playoff, 4 goals against Wales and they won against Czech Republic. Czech Republic beat Netherlands so this team is pretty much decent as well. I wont be surprised if somehow Denmark win against England

Ok for some pure speculation on the final results of this Euro 2020, below my thoughts on Italy Spain:
- two completely different teams on completely different stages because while Italy is almost at the top of its shape after a 3yrs of Mancini's work, Spain looks me like a shooting star ready to disappear.
4 yrs ago it was the opposite so I believe Italy should win the match and reach the final.

Spain is not so tough as before. It can seen from the previous matches they have lived during the Euro event. I think they will be easily beaten by Italy. And in the other semifinal, England is predicted to be able to overcome Denmark. So the ideal final will be Italy vs England.

Spain just simply failed to raise another generational talent and thats about it. Even back in the day when La Liga was dominating the world and Real Madrid vs Barcelona games were watched by 100+ million people easily, sometimes even more Spain wasn't even that good, but they had players from those teams that provided a lot to the national team, when you combined Ramos with Pique, and Iniesta with Xavi to other players, it became not so bad even if the biggest talents of the league were playing for other nations (aka messi and ronaldo).

However after those years, they never really got any young stars that could provide something major for the national team, they never got players as good as those names, and that caused them to slowly get worse. Of course they are still one of the best teams, they are in semi finals aren't they? So they are still good, they are just not THAT good.

If Denmark can somehow win against England, I think Denmark will be the champions this season. Because, fate is cooperating with them fatally. The other players are playing great despite their main striker Eriksen not being on the team. England is a very strong team. Those who did not concede a goal. If Denmark can beat England, they can beat either team in the final.

I say this in relation to Spain, because of the performance it has been showing, not just in the Euro 2020 games.
Of course Spain are a great team, there is no doubt about that. The problem is that I don't see Spain playing as a team. They are very unbalanced, and that is why they have had difficulties.

Now, of course, you have all the conditions to win Italy. But I see that it will be difficult for these to achieve this victory.
Now, Italy won't have an easy game, nor can it go with the idea that it's won, because it isn't. They will have to work hard to get the win.
