Italy is winning as expected but not in regular time, it took them minutes in the extra time to realize a goal. So far they've been the lucky one, with the VAR disallowing a goal due to offside.
You can imagine, Italy is actually winning Austra by Italy 2-0 Austra in just 1st half of extra time and by the 2nd half, its Italy 2-1 Austra, after playing a whole 90 minutes in regular time without a single goal. It makes me wonder what was at play in the regular time, seriously. I i guess it was just ill luck and now in the extra time, we could say the team that is less weared out gets to win the day. Few minutes left to the final whistle though, Austra isn't giving up.

I had guessed before  Italy will score because I look at the stats Austria was under pressure from the start unfortunately italy did it in extra time

Yes it was not expected a difficult game for italy i think the austria team were prepared they carefully studied their opponent we did not see many occasions for italy like in the first stage and austria improved more in the second half too bad for them arnautovic was offside in the goal they score but great performance they should not be ashamed.

The most important thing for Italy is they got to qualifie for next round  with the help of the successful substitutions and an unbridled desire to go far in the tournament.

Back to Italy game, it was harder for them to advance but in the end they did it. If they found first goal early we could've watched a different match but after goalless 90 minutes we saw 3 goals in extra time. Bad for over goal bets, though Italy deserved to be in quarter final more than Austria.

From the moment I saw chiesa prepping to come in from the bench, I knew he had something to offer. Man made an impact in no time. First with the initial attempt before finding the left corner of the post in extra to give Italy the lead. Such a versatile player. One thing I like about him is his ability to shoot from either foot. Chiesa is the kind of player you want in a team to come off from the bench and have an impact in the game.

I expected Italy to win in regular time but Austria did well to keep them at bay. At a point, the game became boring as Italy wasn't allowed to make any chances while Austria kept playing conservatively. Italy needs to do better than this especially if they go up against one of the best teams in the tournament like France, Germany, Belgium or Netherlands.

My point was that Denmark played well but it was against a team like Wales that didn't put them to the test. Imagine when they play one of the top teams in the tournament. Really great match between Italy VS Austria, without a doubt Euro Cup 2020 has so many surprises presented and many non-seeded teams have a high enough fighting spirit to win the match even though the opponents they face are big teams and we can see in the previous match, how Hungary seemed to be the weakest team in Group F, but was able to make the match very difficult for teams like Germany and France, and in this match Austria also did the same thing Hungary did, namely providing a fairly fierce resistance and forced Italy to play with extra time, although in the end Austria lost the match today, But I really salute to see the Austrian team struggle in the match.

a goal can be scored at anytime, it also has to do with luck as you said, but after the first goal in the extra time, things got much more opened with Austria trying to equalize, which led to two more goals in the game, it was entertaining but too bad i made a bet on Italy to draw in the first half and win the match, unlucky for me.

The game was very much a fair one andante entertaining one as well with both teams doing quite enough to doom the other. Italy on the other had had a lot of on target shots but somehow couldn't find the net in regular time but then, If we are to analyse who is lucky here and in both regular time and extra time, I think Italy is the team in both sections 9f this game. I say this because of the cancelled goal of Austra though, it was clear to the VAR on that ground but, that could have sealed the fate of Italy.  It would have been a shameful one indeed should they have lost with all that team quality. Anyway, they still managed to scale through so, Kudos to them mean while, Denmark still has the day for a very well deserved win on Wales.

What's interesting about Denmark is that the goalscorers are on all fronts Striker, Winger and also Defender they don't rely on someone

I think Austria has made a good game and played very well against Italy , they was fighting til to the End and with a bit more of luck they would be have the draw done.

Italy and Denmark going to the next round (quarter-final) and waiting for the result match Belgium vs Portugal (for Italy vs), Netherland vs Czech (for Denmark vs). Belgium atm with perfect points will be a favorite on the paper but they never get with the hard team such as Portugal, I think it will be an equal match and it will finish at least penalty. while Netherland, I think they will go to the next round with at least 2 different goals.

How many are betting in favor of Portugal for today's match? I believe that the odds for Portugal are looking very attractive. Most of the sportsbooks have Portugal at +200 to +220. I agree that Portugal is more like a one man army led by Cristiano Ronaldo, but during the previous matches Belgium has shown some vulnerabilities. This is the same team that held one of the tournament favorites to a 2-2 draw, and I believe that they can do the same against Belgium as well. If that happens, then it will go to penalty, and here Portugal has the edge.
