It's Portugal vs Belgium tonight. Lets hope that last Ronaldo game in Euro ends with him lifting the trophy. Belgium always ready to give the best gameplay, so Portugal have to keep pressure on them. I can hope for an exciting match with lots of goals on either side. It's difficult to say yet, but I can say win for Portugal.

IDK, if you have a player like Chiesa with the talent he has why wait until extra time? why
not 10, 20 minutes into the second half when its clear Austria were imposing themselves
on the game?

....that way we would all have our bets realised.

Probably Italy thought that they would have an easy game against Austria but turned out that they didnt.

Maybe Netherland can win but I don't think it's easy because I still remember when Czech Republic were against England and Croatia these two teams seem to have a hard time scoring goals

That was a weird comparison. England was so bad in the group stage and they cant score a single goal against Scotland so its not a surprise that England only scored 1 goal against Czech Republic. Netherlands on the other hands, scored 8 goals in the group stage and that was the highest amount of goal for a team in the group stage. Both teams are totally different in regards to their statistics on the group stage

If I see it, Belgium is currently in its Golden Generation, just like France when they won the World Cup. It will be very difficult for Portugal to win, but anything can happen in Football.

Maybe Netherland can win but I don't think it's easy because I still remember when Czech Republic were against England and Croatia these two teams seem to have a hard time scoring goals even though both teams are favorites, means Czech has a good defense and they rely on counterattack I guess  Czech will apply this method in the next match.

I am not sure about Czech republic's defense but honestly England and Croatia have been struggling to score this Euro Cup. Croatia might have displayed some good attack in last game but that doesn't rules out any proper striker of the ball at the tip of their attack. As for England, their striker Harry Kane has been struggling to score so there is that. It will be a good game tho.

I don't think it's a new rule because some matches also apply ''drink breaks'', maybe it only applies to matches in certain stadiums or countries that have hotter weather. Not sure, I don't really mind that.
But regarding the Netherlands - Czech match, I personally still believe that the Netherlands will win, because if I look at the previous match it seems that what was said above was about England and Croatia who were difficult to score against the Czechs. I personally just believe it wasn't about the perfect Czech defense because I saw from England and Croatia teams who were also difficult to score and were not good at taking the chances. So yeah, I don't think the Czechs have a good defense either.

i see many parallels to yesterday's game between italy and austria
in the game netherlands vs. czech republic the dutch are/were the favorites - but the czechs makes a very good game - the goalkeeper (Tomas Vaclik) keeps his country still in the game and now by the red card for Matthijs De Ligt the czech republic have now another advantage to win the game and thus enter the 1/4-finals

Yes its a hard time now with the red card for netherland and it seems that czech team have improved their play and they are pressing they are very dangerous and almost got a penalty i think if they continue like that we will have the first surprise in this Euro.

So it is going to be 11 member Netherlands vs 10 member Czechia. The Dutch will be able to defend their goalpost. But scoring a goal is going to be much difficult now, with reduced strength. And from what I can see, the Czech players have stepped up their offensive. They don't want this game to go in to the penalties. But the danger for the Czech players is complacency. The Dutch can be dangerous, even with just 10 players. And all it takes is just one goal. And so many times we have seen in this tournament, goals being scored off counter-attacks.

This is a bonus for Czech, now more opportunities are open to them and game control has moved to the Czech so they have to keep pushing to get extra bonus ( goal)

It was a huge loss for the Netherlands after their centre-back was sent off with a red card when they needed a goal. This will be a big advantage for the Czechs because the Netherland have to play with 10 players and they have to make good use of it if they want to win. Big mistake from Matthijs de Ligt. He got the red card when almost 40 minutes were remaining in the match. And from what I can see, the Dutch are in a dilemma. They badly need a goal to at least equalize. But if they try too hard, then it will weaken their defense and the Czech players will be able to extend the lead further. BTW, a lot of delays going on. I won't be surprised even if the injury time is extended by 10 minutes.

Edit: Czechia scores another goal. Now they are up 2-0 and in all probability they will face Denmark on 3rd July. The red card completely changed the match situation. Because until then Netherlands had the upper hand.

Make it 2 now with losing the possession in middle and good counter from Czech Republic. Well Czech were patient and continued to make counter unless they went down and things went down easy after that.

Yes one underdog goes to the quarter finals this is what it says anything can happen in a match, at first I believed netherland went to the quarter-finals but won with a low score

Another game of 2 halves, I thought the Dutch played alright in the first half but
didnt carry it into the second half and let the Czecks into it.

While the Czecks lacked that spark in finishing their chances in the first half
they defended well and frustrated The Netherlands.

I am watching The Netherlands Czech Republic live: it was a very balanced match that will be decided by some episodes.
Despite The Netherlands started as the favorite for winning the match iis completely in favor of Czech Republic. Since a few minutes ago I supposed they were going to extra times but now Czech Republic will probably prevail.
This was a very difficult game to bet.
