Ferguson - Gaethje. I have a feeling that Gaethje has no chances, Ferguson is very hungry for fights.

In a fight you need to give an opportunity for everyone and Gaethje has never been in a lazy fight and it will be interesting till one falls.

Gaethje looks so cute with hidden smile on the picture, I would never believe is a fighter (not looking on his nose). I think Ferguson is so tired without fights, that he will tear to parts anyone, even people heavier that he.

Ngannou - Rozenstruik. I'm so much waiting for this fight. Cameroonian-French fighter gonna behead Rozenstuik, I thing they are on different leve.

It is not that easy as you think, Jairzinho Rozenstruik is a world class striker with an extensive background in kickboxing with 64 knockouts and so is the reason i am really interested in this fight as i am not expecting this fight going the distance.

64 knouckouts is a lot, be he had only 4 fights in ufc. Two of this two fights were against very low rank opponents, one with crystal chin and only one fight agains top fighter. Who knows who were this 64 unlucky fighters, maybe total no names

And take a look on Ngannou opponents. On the paper he is a 100% winner so far

If Tony Ferguson can survive the early storm and avoid getting hit from Justin Gaethje then he will tire down in the second or third round and then Tony Ferguson will be able to submit him and that is the fight i am expecting as Tony Ferguson is a fighter who will not get tired and have stamina for many rounds.

The reason i highlighted the number of knockout victories is because the amount of fights he fought in his career and in the heavyweight division anyone can knock you down and i am sure Jairzinho Rozenstruik has seen many fighters that will not surprise him all of a sudden and if you have seen his fight against Alistair Overeem he was patient enough to wait till the last rounds to knock him out as he was aware that if the fight goes to the judges it would be a close fight, what i am trying to tell is that it will not be an easy fight for Francis Ngannou.

But watch the fight again.  Masvidal owned him.  Diaz had no chance and I don't think there has to be a rematch.

Anyway...  249's main card is looking good!  If it's happening.  *fingers crossed*  

Masvidal would have won that fight either way and there is no way Diaz would have won the fight and it was good that the doctor stopped the fight because these sort of doubts remain in some of the fans and if McGregor wants to have his trilogy against Nate Diaz it will be another huge pay day for them.
The fight card looks good but two weeks to go and i doubt whether this fight card takes place as the situation is not better than last month and with millions of patients in the US alone will they allow them to proceed when all the other sports are halted indefinitely.

@Toptort777 the event is confirmed and will be taking place in Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, and is closed to the public as per their official announcement. Further whom are you’ll placing your bets on as after quiet a while we’re getting a chance to gamble on sports like this, and I’m spoiled for choices so any recommendations would help a lot.

At last it was official! I can now watch fresh MMA fights once again . It's been a while since the last time I watched, I missed it a lot lol. I just hope there will be no future problems encountered thus resulting for another postponement because I don't know what to feel already just in case it may not happen. Props to Dana fot pursuing all the stuff.

Cowboy and Petis on the undercard?  Either way, a surprisingly very good line up of fights assuming half of them don't drop out or it gets cancelled. I wonder what bouts Dana is trying to line up for the fight island because I would have expected some of these fights or fighters to end up there. Maybe we might see a big fight there after all... unless Dana is just going to go with fights in Florida now. Still really hoping he does the island thing as it's at least something different.

Diaz only lost via Doctor stoppage. They should rematch that fight but Masvidal doesn't seem to want it even though it would be the right thing to do. I think the Diaz trilogy fight would be one of the biggest fights McGregor could take right now outside of a Khabib rematch but there's more chance of the Diaz match happening since Khabib doesn't seem in any rush to fight him again, though money talks.

Nate Diaz lost the fight because of doctor stoppage because he was getting beaten badly as Jorge Masvidal was dominating the fight and even one judge scored two rounds 10 to 8 which shows how dominant Jorge Masvidal was in the fight and the rematch will not make any sense as Jorge Masvidal is waiting for his title fight and Nate Diaz is not even in the title picture and as you said McGregor and Nate should fight for their trilogy as i do not see McGregor getting a rematch with Khabib anytime soon.

The stamina of Conor Mcgregor is well documented and the fight against Nate Diaz was the first time he was fighting at a higher weight division and he clearly underestimated Nate Diaz as he thought he would fall like the lower weight division fighters and when that did not happen he gassed out completely and he was scrambling to take down a ground specialist and presented his neck to get chocked out.
There is no doubt about the heart of Nate Diaz but his eyes was completely shut down in the Jorge Masvidal fight.

Here is the fight metric about the number of significant strikes landed in that fight.

Nate Diaz landed just 23 significant strikes to the head and he threw a total of 74 head shots

 The head strikes Nate Diaz took is the reason his eyes were swollen shut and to fight against Jorge Masvidal who is not tired nor taken much damange and Nate Diaz to fight without seeing the opponent is too dangerous as he could injure his eyes permanently, just remember the Michael Bisping situation as he lost his eye during a fight and he never regained that vision fully. It is a dangerous sports even though it is entertainment for the viewers and fans and hence i respect the doctors decision, if he fight was conducted elsewhere then the doctor would have approved carrying on with the fight, the rules in New York are a bit strict than the rest of the places because they have witnessed boxing deaths inside the ring and after those events they take these seriously.

Justin Gaethje is the perfect opponent to test his chin, in almost all of the fights Tony Ferguson eat a lot of punches and people have taken him to the ground and the flip and roll when Pettis wobbled him and i have not seen anyone doing an imanari roll before when they are disoriented and that is why Tony is really unpredictable as you never know what he is going to do and somehow finds a way to win.

As important regarding some events like these and in getting back with sports betting, I think the safety of many was the most priority of most President for now, but if Dana White and Donald Trump are as you say are close there is still possibility that he would give in to White's request especially if there is money involve and surely enough because of the crisis right now Trump would surely want the money he can get regarding the budget of the government.

I don't disagree with the stoppage, it's just not a fully fair win in my opinion even if Masvidal was winning or dominating. Masvidal should have at least given him the courtesy to finish the fight properly. If it was an easy and dominant win for him then there should be nothing to worry about in a rematch. Anything can happen in a fight though. Most people seem to think the first Fury/Wilder fight Fury was winning up until he got knocked down and was nearly KOd completely and that's all it takes. You could be dominating a fight 100% and then you get stung with a killer blow. It looked both Diaz and Masvidal were interested in the rematch but it was Dana who seemed like he wasn't interested, more likely because he was dreaming of bigger fights involving them and McGregor or Khabib.

As above, I don't disagree with it, it's just a shame when it happens. I had similar feelings with the Fury/Wilder towel throw in. I could see why his coach did it, but I like to see fights out wherever possible. Obviously the health of fighters is paramount but that's also why I like to see rematches if there's not a clear winner. Fights going to points is always frustrating as well, especially when it's close.
