It is good that on top of bantamweight is a striker, because among top fighters of this division we have a guy who wears papakha on his homeland If Nurmagomedov was to face Sandhagen, and Sandhagen is one of the first contenders on a title fight. Then in 2-3 fights we might see O'Malley got submitted by another Dagestani I bet O'Malley gonna beat Dvalishvili/Sandhagen next, and revenge Vera.

For me because he is not Champion he can get what he wants I think he can get Marlon Chito Vera 1st before anything else because that lost from him he can not accept it,

In Dagestan, there is something in the water. Everyone that comes out from there is a fighter and everyone is really good at wrestling. This is absolutely undeniable. A lot of people do say that they do not like to see wrestling in MMA because wrestling feels a little boring at times. But I beg to differ.

Umar Nurmagomedov is definitely a great fighter. I think we will see a fight between him and Sean O’Malley sometime in the future. And that is a fight. I am really looking forward to see. Sean O’Malley getting submitted by a Dagestani is not unbelievable to think though.

Real answers are simple: first there is nothing much to do there, and this is kid of a cheap sport for locals. You need to buy special protection gear and have a special gym. Just shorts, t-shirt and you are ready. Second, it is less traumatically than boxing or when you get hit into head (even though it is not the most safe sport). It helps to develop body. Third, this is like a tradition. Like baseball for USA, cricket for India.

Yeah, that is true. Every people growing up in Dagestan has to fight. I don’t know if you have seen the interview of Khabib Nurmagomedov with Patrick Ben David in the MGM Arena. Khabib said it really well. He just directly said that as a man you cannot be weak. You have to be a fighter if you are a man in Dagestan.

So when every other kid is learning how to fight, you are not going to be the one to pussy out. It’s like even if you do not like fighting, you have to train and you are always in a competitive mindset with the others that you have to be better. And the next day you wake up and you are fighting a bear as a child. And one day you wake up as the number one Pound for Pound fighter with a 29-0 record. This also indicates that tradition is very important.

Oh man I really like upcoming main event Max Holloway vs Korean Zombie, but this whole main card is a bomb!
Bookmakers made Holloway a huge favorite in this fight, but call me crazy for thinking that Korean Zombie can take advantage of his reach advantage and win few rounds or a whole fight.
Co-main event is interesting but I want to see how Giga Chikadze will react after losing last fight from Calvin Kattar.

Yeap, you are crazy. Imho Holloway gonna take Korean Zombie to boxing school and give him some hard lessons. Max has only lost to a champ (3 times lol, but all the fights went full distance) and Poirier in peak form. I doubt that those 7cm reach advantage gonna play a big role, Zombie is not much of a knockout artist. Winning few rounds is also not likely, if the stupidly throw strikes, then Max is a strike spam machine.

The recent form of the Korean Zombie right now is very different than with his past style for sure this is going to be a technical fight and will be a good one but Holloway will have a advantage with the boxing here and the Zombie needs something very different here if he wants to win this fight,

Surprises happen but I can't see Korean Zombie winning the next fight, unless by an injury. Odds for Holloway are 1.12 (Unibet), which is as low as it gets.
The problem with Max is he has nowhere to go. He fought Volkanovski 3 times already, so I don't expect UFC will be super happy to run it again, and not sure if Max would want it either.

I am hearing that he is going to fight in December against Michael Chandler. I am not sure about that though. But if you just Google “Conor McGregor’s next fight” you will actually find almost every article, and every answer saying that he’s going to fight in December against Michael Chandler.

The thing between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul is really heated right now. And I don’t know if people are following twitter or not, there is a literal war going on in Twitter. And Logan Paul definitely shouldn’t have taken that step of engagement at this moment, and that also with a woman who is a clout chaser. And Logan Paul is actually a successful and top 1% person. I don’t understand why he is actually marrying a woman who has been run through by every other celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio. And I am also quite sure that the woman is more than 30 years old. We got more people talking in this thread than she has eggs left in her womb.

News about Conors next fight is like girls mood during period. He is challenging everyone in Twitter, matchmakers announce and cancel his next fights monthly. No one knows the truth. But the truth is somewhere near USADA tests and Conor imho. Maybe this is somehow how connected with his beer promotion. When PR tells him it is about time to make big announcement, make a fight and promotion, then we might get some real info about his next fight.

This year is full of unexpected and controversial wins I've seen a picture collage before UFC 292: O'Malley with belt in the middle, with Strickland and Covington with belts by his side So who knows what we will get by the end of this year. Well, just like you I kinda agree that the only option for Korean Zombie to win here is for Max Holloway to get injured or maybe a doctor Stoppage, this is the only way the Korean Zombie may got a way of winning because he can not rely on his chin anymore that means he needs to adjust big time against Max Holloway, for sure in order to win,

If the USADA will not get his compliance then they likely wouldn't give Conor McGregor a fight for sure but maybe the UFC will give him a special treatment just like before but for this I wouldn't expect McGregor to get a fight on December,

Maybe, but I didn't have that impression and thought those performances were pretty solid. People often have the impression that top fighters' form is in decline forgetting that they fight other top fighters and on their way up they were facing lesser-skilled opponents (not to say bums), so the performace can't be as dominating in comparison.

Them Dagestanian dudes are built different.

They probably have naturally higher testosterone and were training Sambo/wrestling even before they could walk. I watched documentary about Khabib, his entire life was one big fighting camp, that's completely different from getting dropped by mum to taekwondo class twice a week  .

And just imagine, when they go to school, among 15 boys in the class, 12 boys train wrestling, boxing or karate. So you cant be like a "white crown" and stand out. Kids simply becomes an outcast. This all means there is a super huge competition among boys. That is why they are always so hungry for a win,

O'Malley may want what ever he wants, but a rematch against Vera seems to me not in UFC to-do list. Imho it is Sandhagen or Dvalishvili time to get a title fight. Dvalishvili deserves a title fight more than anyone in bantamweight. He is on series of 8 or 9 wins. O'Malley and Dvalishvili can show good fight. Dvalishvili is even able to take belt from O'Malley. So I think O'Malley not going to meet Vera any time soon.

That fight against Aljamain Sterling got an amount of support because of O'Malley fans, Even though some people don't like him I can see that he has a ton of supporters for sure so for me if Sean O'Malley wants a rematch with Marlon Vera the UFC might give it to him, and that could be a win for Marlon Vera again, and with that then Merab Dvalishvili or Cory Sandhagen could take the belt for Marlon Vera, I like Marlon Vera more than Sean O'Malley,

As for O'Malley, I think he just wants to get that L back.  Looking back, it was a fluke.  Vera did get lucky hitting the nerve that makes the leg numb.  I mean what's Vera gonna do?  Hit it at the exact same spot?  That's not happening...  On the other hand, Vera is one tough dude...  He's never been finished.

I like Blanchfield for sure The grappling she shows against JJ Aldrich, Molly McCann, and Jéssica Andrade and she is getting better every time she fights, for sure that Erin Blanchfield VS Alexa Grasso fight will be a great fight for sure and I want them to happen,

With the O'Malley fight for sure he wants revenge and to prove that their recent fight was just a fluke and that he is a better fighter, this is an interesting fight than the first fight even though Marlon Vera is aware of that perennial Nerve tactic attack it is not a 100% sure if he can hit it, so it was really a coincidence but for me, Marlon Vera has a good technique moving forward his defense is great when it comes to boxing but with the kicking he surely got a problem with it, so this is an interesting fight of the strikers,

Wrestling became a new norm in the UFC when Royce Gracie became very dominant with it, but it became more popular when fighters began adapting to it with a mix of striking and wrestling, and then the Dagestan guys dominated all wrestling even Jui Jitsu, which is why there are many newcomers for MMA that are mixing their game with both and Dagestan become a very popular and a dominating force in it,

For Conor McGregor to get back to the UFC he needs to get back into the USADA testing pool and after 6 months in the pool, he will be eligible to fight and as far as i understand he is yet to enter the pool. With the kind of injury he had, he might have taken nasty things that could pop while testing and hence he might be waiting for that to get out of his system before entering, until then he wants to have the limelight and hence teasing about Boxing.

And there is another thing which builds up from a young age between the kids of Dagestan. It’s being a disciplined individual. They are learning to show value for everything. Even for something that we take for granted in our life which is time. They do not waste time. At least most of them.

And they of course follow discipline and religion a lot. Which helps them a lot in future to be what they want to be and be very good at it. Oh, and most of the time they are out of the distractions that we have. Especially the distractions that almost any children has which is playing games on the mobile phone from a very young age or having an affair. They are out of that.

Correct, although it's possible that, in exceptional circumstances, that 6 months period could be shortened by USADA. What would constitute an exceptional circumstance? I have no idea.
To me, it looks like UFC know it's unlikely to happen but they don't want to admit it and let the hype die out.
Again, I'm starting to feel sorry for Chandler, he pushed really hard for the fight with McGregor but might end up with nothing but wasted time. At least he's earning some money from The Ultimate Fighter show, so it's not all that bad for him.

Just done watching UFC Singapore just now.  And as I said I think Blanchfield vs Santos should've been co main event as it had title implications.  It was also the much better match to watch than Chikadze vs the other guy.

Anyway yeah...  The wrestling was what did it for Blanchfield after getting pieced up in the striking.  I mean Santos had really great TD defense and defensive grappling but Blanchfield was just so relentless, she tired out Santos.  Showed her high fight IQ.  I think both girls beat Grasso any day of the week.

Decent event...  Can't wait for next week.
