what I did not realize was that there are 5 different stamps - I thought it was one stamp only. Because of this, I ordered 1 regular and 1 cancelled. I also was not aware that there was at one point (all sold out now) a way to buy them onchain where you could actually select which ones you wanted. I ordered 12 more last night, that will give me 13 regulars 1 cancelled one. I hope out of the 13 that I manage to get one of each. Still waiting for the first 2 to arrive though.

Still wondering why there is such a low interest on the croatian stamps. If you check their online shop there are still plenty of them left.
Perhaps the mistakes that were made by the Austrian Post have deterred some potential buyers..

But in summary it looks like it will be a flop.

Yeah, as Mopar already mentioned the 500 which where available for crypto are sold out but the ones that can be paid with FIAT are almost untouched.
I will quote a post of bullrun2020bro who shared it with us in the german thread of Crypto stamps. That post is a month ago and nothing much has changed since then:

Bezüglich der kroatischen Crypto Stamp tut sich beim Verkauf leider überhaupt nichts. Auch heute (Stand: 18:00) sind noch über 93.000 Marken im regulären Onlineshop verfügbar. Das bedeutet seit gestern wurden lediglich knapp 200 Marken verkauft. Großes Interesse sieht leider anders aus.

On second look, the packing slip just says "10 stamps", so I am assuming they did not send me any canceled ones either. Looking closer at the packaging, I definitely have 10 in there too.

I don't see anything on the slip about not sending me the canceled ones, but I suspect they would not seal 10 in a pack that are different. I still would rather not open it.

well i only ordered one cancelled on with one normal one on the first order - so I wont mind opening those so I might be able to tell ya if they bundle them together

I bought 2 and 2 and they came in the same package. The regular ones are in plastic pouches with both sides intact. The cancelled stamps have the one edge of the pouch peeled off. It's an ugly black circle on the cancelled ones. Definitely liked the aesthetics of the red stamp on the unicorns better.

Awesome, thanks. Did your shipping note say 4 stamps total, not like 2 canceled and 2 regulars? Just curious. I guess I'll have to open them and hope I get some cool ones.

I received two things for the order I placed on opening day.
this is the first - pretty much just the order confirmation. Which does say 1 regular and 1 cancelled.


this is the second - with the tracking number, I don't see anything that says what is being shipped.

I received the croatia stamps already. Looks like there is no real second market for them as they haven’t implemented a way to hide the private key. Once you take the stamp out of its plastic bag, which you need to do to check if you have a train/boat/drone..., you get to see the private key right away. It’s also quite a hastle to get the nft out, as you first need to send ether to the address from the stamp in order to get the nft out. It’s not as convenient as the austrian stamps, that’s for sure.

Yeah that's how mine looked but 5 apiece. They did arrive faster than I thought - They also cleared customs fairly fast, maybe I was just lucky as we know ISC NY likes to just sit on shit for days lol...

I will share my packing labels when/if they arrive. So far every first day of issue stamps I have ordered have been delayed. Though my Austrian ones eventually showed up but not before they sent replacements and refunded me.

Unfortunately it looks like basically no one is interested in the Croatian Crypto Stamps. The 500 onchain stamps were sold out pretty fast, but the interest in the 99.500 regular stamps is basically non-existent. With still almost 90K stamps left, I doubt all pieces will ever be sold at all. In addition to that, the Croatian stamps are sold for a much lower price on secondary markets like eBay compared to the Austrian Crypto Stamps (e.g. the highest price for a drone on eBay was about 210€).

So all in all, if you're a collector it's nice to have a few Croatian stamps (I have about 10~), but if you want to buy them for an investment, I would definitely go with the Austrian stamps (but like always DYOR!).


Concerning the CS2 there are still several thousand stamps available at the onchain shop. On October 5th the Austrian Post changed their dynamic fee policy and about 5000 stamps are still available for 7€ + transaction costs (for a detailed overview, please check the screenshot below). With ETH-network costs currently going down (about 30 GWEI at night) buying a few stamps gets affordable again. Before October 5th, the prices were about 15-20€ per stamp + high transaction costs of usually about 100+ GWEI. To buy a stamp in the onchain shop the only things you need is a Metamask account and a corresponding amount of ETH. A maximum of ten stamps can be purchased per transaction.

If gas prices continue to fall, the quantities are likely to be sold out fairly quickly. After purchasing a stamp in the onchain shop, the corresponding NFT will be transferred to your collection (any color from black to red is possible). In your collection, you then have the option to initiate the shipment of the physical twin to a address of your choice.

I would be tempted to buy more CS2 if I knew I could for sure get a red set lol - I have all the others just zero reds - but I know that is the hardest set to get.

also if anyone wants, I have 12 CS physical stamps that are extra - open to offers, not looking for much above face value. It's 3 sets of each animal

1st set is an unopened black set.
2nd set that was opened (only to be scanned to see what they were)
3rd set has not even been removed from the wax paper the post office wrapped the set into.

none of them have been redeemed for their online counterpart.

Pretty good news for all CS2 Doge holders. The Doge stamp is now officially sold out! As expected the Doge motif was by far the most popular one. I am a little bit surprised that there are still more than 1400 pieces of every other animal available, but let's see what happens when the ETH gas fees drop further.

If you're up for a gamble, it's still possible to buy unredeemed presale Doge stamps on market places like Opensea. You might get lucky and draw a super rare red presale Doge's of which only 17 pieces are available (14x 6-digit, 3x 5-digit; click here for full list). On the other hand the price for the unredeemed presale Doge's is already pretty high (currently about ~20$). No clue, if it's worth a try, but I might give it shot.

Um... I have about 30 of these. For some reason I ordered 5 canceled and 5 not canceled. They sent me a sealed pack of 10. then another strip of 10 sealed, but not bagged.  

So yeah... Aren't they always unopened? What do you mean by cover? FDC? I see those on ebay but not for sale anywhere else.
