In my opinion, City, Bayern, and Real Madrid are the contenders for the UCL title. Real seem like they have found back their rhythm after a shaky start to the season and City and Bayern play really good team-oriented attacking game which I love.

Real Madrid's midfield has aged quite a bit. All 3 of Modric, Kroos and Casemiro are above 30 but I dont think age will play a big role over here as Modrid, even at this age is still one of the best midfielders in the world.

I would say that these 4 teams are the biggest candidates no matter how you rank them. Even though PSG and Madrid will play each other, because one of them will beat the other and then there will be 3 teams that are favorites, City has sporting which is nothing for them, Bayern has salzburg which once again is nothing for them, and that's why these four will definitely be going to quarter finals for sure, I mean 3 of them since PSG and Madrid situation.

Chelsea and Liverpool will be decent, they will not go down easy and they will play to win, but I still think that these four teams are better, if only we didn't had one of those "early finals" type of match ups with PSG and Madrid game, because they would definitely beat any other team for sure.

It is very interesting honestly. Because Chelsea have a better odd than PSG just because they are the last champions in the CL. And Ajax are favoured by bookmakers even more than Real Madrid. I get that Ajax have been really awesome so far. Their performance in the group stage was just extraordinary surely. But this still doesn't mean that they are better than Real Madrid. If we somehow see a draw between them, I strongly believe that Real Madrid would eliminate them.

Yes, maybe this is so, but Real has a chance to win (it seems to me) no less than PSG, while there is such a huge difference between them. Ajax does have an easier opponent and given how they made it through the group stage (6 wins out of 6 matches), the likelihood of Ajax winning is very high. I hope that they will go as far as possible - when the same pool of teams competes for the championship it is very boring.
