In my opinion, City, Bayern, and Real Madrid are the contenders for the UCL title. Real seem like they have found back their rhythm after a shaky start to the season and City and Bayern play really good team-oriented attacking game which I love.

Real Madrid's midfield has aged quite a bit. All 3 of Modric, Kroos and Casemiro are above 30 but I dont think age will play a big role over here as Modrid, even at this age is still one of the best midfielders in the world.

I don't know how the Manchester City team play, but it doesn't seem that strong to me
with PSG he took a goal at home
with RB Leipzig he lost, and I don't think he is a super team

I also think that ManCity is one of the big favorites to win the champions league title. To be honest, I expected Dortmund to end the group as the leader before the games started. And Ajax would have ended as the second. What is much more important is team spirit and team play.

They are two great sides, coming up with astonishing performance when they want too.
Having a great home record both, it's just hard for done to decide who wins at their home games respectively.

I have the same ideas with you trough Cristiano Ronaldo move to Manchester United make difference composition and scoring goal most focus for him, I think is very bad for team working because all destination goal and chance should give to him. Looks what happen with Real Madrid after leaving by Ronaldo and now they can be team working and all goal not only focus with one player. Benzema can scoring many goals but he can give assist for his friend without focus he always should made goal on every match.

I wouldn't make Manchester City favorites too early to win the title this season but if they do make it to the final then I believe there's a pretty good chance of winning it. They certainly have to learn from last season's mistakes, so maybe they really want to do it this season. Don't forget, Bayern Munchen, PSG and Real Madrid still have the opportunity to do the same and this is still unpredictable. There is nothing wrong with choosing Manchester City, but this is only the last 16.

Many people and pundits seem to have already written off inter Milan in this particular draw, but I still think it's going to be a really tough game for Liverpool, Inter Milan are a very strong side that can pose quite a lot of problems and if Liverpool are not careful they could be eliminated by them, I'm pretty sure Klopp must have talked to his players to be weary of the threat Inter can pose, so they do not become complacent and find themselves in a really difficult situation.

I have to completely agree with you, City are firing on all cylinders, and Sporting isn't even the sort of team to actually give City too many problems, after getting to the final last season, City are my favorites for the title as I expect then to go a step further and finally win the CL.

Inter are in a solid form this season. They have a great squad also, and can't probably be beaten easily in a match. On the other hand is Liverpool, also a strong team. This match will indeed be interesting. I guess Inter might resist Liverpool in a first leg which they will be hosting on the 16th of next month. But, I don't think Inter can still resist Liverpool in the 2nd leg. Anyway, let me not be quick to judge because the round 16 will be full of surprises. Nevertheless, Am quite sure that many goals will be scored.

Without a doubt, we should expect more goals in these games. Since UEFA ended the away goals rule as a tiebreaker in the qualifiers.
Now, if the teams add the same number of goals in both legs of a tie, this will be decided through extra time and, if neither of them scores goals, there will be a penalty shoot-out.

In other words, teams should no longer play in such a defensive way in the first leg. You will see how teams will react to these new rules.
