Juventus have gone many steps backward, I'd not say that it's as a result of Ranaldo leaving the team, though that might have contributed to it a little bit, but in my opinion I believe they have lost their flair of playing together as a team, Juventus were so strong in their league and were not doing too badly in the UCL for many years cause they knew how to play together as a team and win, they need to regain that to start winning again. Juventus' opponent is Villarreal. I would not say that Villarreal is too strong. Juventus are better than Villarreal. Villarreal's condition is not very good in La Liga either. It was quite a long match judging from H2H because if I'm not mistaken they last met in 2019 and it's been 3 years.
I don't think H2H can really be used as a reference now but I personally will be at Real Madrid's side now because I feel they have a greater chance of qualifying.
The problem now is that I'm thinking about Benzema whether he will be able to play or not because if he still can't play then Real Madrid will definitely be in a lot of trouble because there really isn't anyone to rely on on the front lines.

I would guess that they couldn't do it with Ronaldo being there, so people think that they can't do it without him being there at all. I am not saying that Ronaldo is a make or break player, we have seen teams win UCL without Ronaldo plenty of times lol, but that doesn't mean that a team who couldn't do it with him, would ever be able to do it without him neither.

Plus, Juventus has never been really a team that actually fought for UCL all that much, they are really not good enough to be great in Serie A let alone be great in all of Europe, so there is no pressure on them to win anything here. They could lose all the remainder of the games and go back home and nobody would be shocked.

Maybe Cristiano Ronaldo have over and Europe competition is not matching for him, look at statistic with Manchester United in five games Ronaldo without any contribution and failed scored goal and contributed with assist, maybe move to easy competition like MLS is best option for him still have higher market value.
