Manchester City are the favorites today,

I can say i agree with this, although Real Madrid have had a good running, Manchester city may be their end in this competition from getting to the finals. The coach Pep of Manchester city is fairly familiar with playing Real Madrid and have played them with a couple of teams he has coached. I trust his team selection and believe his tactical prowess. Real Madrid will score, but Manchester city will emerge winners.

It is going to be a very entertaining game i believe, expectations are very high for this game.

For what it's worth, I think Real Madrid to win for more than for 6.60 Odds is of great value, Man City are great team, but so are Real Madrid with majority of the players highly experienced in the competition as well, if there is any team capable of win at home against City, you can't write Real Madrid out with their current form in the UCL.

I would have settled for the Over 2.5 goals or BTSS instead, but I would rather watch the game as a neutral fan with no financial emotion attached.

I also think those are pretty good odds for Madrid winning. Unfortunately I just don't believe in it. 
However, it could very well be that everybody (including bookmakers and me ) underestimate Madrid, just like they did in the quarter finals when they were able to beat Chelsea.

More than 2.5 goals pays 2.5, which seems a good deal (considering that 3 out of 4 of Madrid's games would have won that bet)

Benzema, as he's done all season long have given Real Madrid an important goal here, and you can instantly see the frustration from Guardiola the "perfectionist" as one of the commentators called him. It's less than 5 minutes before the halftime, It easily could have been a 4 or more goals advantage for Man City because they've squandered a couple of really decent chances, and can't afford not to make the most of these kinds of chances when playing against a side that never gives up hope even when down.

Real Madrid will be getting the advantage of scoring 1 away goal in the 1st leg

The "away goal" rule is no longer in play in the UCL, at least for this season. but If it ends as it is, then being behind by just a goal ahead of a showdown in Santiago Bernabeu might not be so bad for Real Madrid.

And of course, Benzema never ceases to amaze with his ability to score from absolutely any position, he is a real captain who leads the team behind him.
