btw Groestlcoin is next champion for mine with GPUs /less energy consuming like X11/
COMM is next champion for PoS mining

Groestlcoin is premined coin.

100% premined PoS coins are also questionable, Are you sure that issuer will stay his case? Even saint will dump once in reaches mintpal.
I am just holding stake and believe in good. Imagine how much coins minted already in the 1st wallet?
PoS consume nothing compare with gpus, so I'm happy comm stakeholder now, I don't wanna imagine nothing, because nothing in the world is perfect, things r olny better and worse. Time will show...And its not about 100% premine PoS coins, its about their distribution and then price. Every who get COMMs may be happy and do something for it, without risk that he will pay for nothing /mine unprofitable coins with gpus and pay more for electricity as income.

Forget to say, Groestl much more premined cuz launched without public GPU miner.

As much as I want to like this coin, I'm a wee bit skeptical with Joerii involved. After the whole PhenixEx debacle and all. I can't seem to find much info on how that situation was resolved.

It was never resolved. We gave up after calculating how much it would cost ( in money and effort )  to sue the dev who stole from everyone. I lost more then most people in that scam.

After this small pump I am sure that HIRO hodlers are complete idiots...

starting to feel like one yes.

would be nice to get some positive sounds from the dev team.
mining has not been worth it for a long time , the price is totally in the shitter , Guy's anything ?

Seeing how few BTC is needed to push the HIRO price up again, i believe or the dev should buy back some serious amounts of Hiro to get the price going or we should all tip-in and start pushing the price up again

+1. Hiro was highdiff, so not so much coins mined, all idiots already dumped.

+1 sure !

I'm almost finished with an Alpha version of a PHP based open source profit calculator, which is designed that it can be easily configured for any coin - from my current calculations, and using the official current stats, HIRO is still profitable to mine. I can make the HIRO equivalent (based on market average) 0.012BTC/day with 11.5Mh/s, and even over here in the UK where electricity is around GBP0.16/kWh (USD0.27) it's still going to pull in a profit of a little under £50/month, so from my calculations, there is absolutely no way anybody can state it's unprofitable to mine HIRO, especially as we're in such early days, and even on insane UK electric prices it still pulls in a profit every day...

That may not be as high as other coins, but you ARE going to be able to afford your electric bill by converting to BTC then fiat, and have some HIRO left for the long-run.

I'll be putting it online for you all to see as soon as it's in a state where I'm happy with the state of the code.

Ok I've got the mining calculator in a state where it's testable. I've just set the DNS up so this may not work for you for a number of hours.

That URL links to the values for 1Mh/s, but you can easily change this by changing the "mh" value in the address bar to the Mh/s you're getting. It supports integer and decimal values.

The diff will update every 60 seconds, and the exchange values (including fiat) all update every 15 minutes. I'm in the process of designing a templating system for it. That version isn't even technically API compatible because it's just pretty printing JSON in an HTML document, but it's usable to see what your total revenue in a few different currencies will be at any one block difficulty. Given we're already retargeting the diff for every block found, the values you see will be very different over time, but hopefully it's enough to give you a general idea of the figures at any one time.

Fiat currencies on the app: GBP. USD, CNY, EUR
Fiat currencies supported in total: Anything that's on BitcoinAverage's public API.

If anybody would like me to add any other currencies that are supported by BitcoinAverage to the list just let me know. This will be integrated with the main site as soon as I've got more work done on the templating system.

This is what I do not understand. You had 45k coins and you see the price is low. 0.32 BTC is not something you cannot afford to lose and also this current price has been stagnant for days so probably it will not go any lower. Having all this in mind, WHY, oh WHY would you sell your coins this low instead of leaving them in your wallet for a couple more weeks/months, WTF is the reason you would accept that loss?

People just have no patience and everybody wants to earn 100 BTC in a few days time.

Ivan, I haven't enough patience, you r right, its because devs r too slow, they do nothing to push price up or they can't do it now.
Maybe I loose some money when price pops up, I accept it, but im on another train now, train what is visible with better potencial. I did it with no smile but anyway, I dont believe in future of hiro now, sorry all, so I want to adapt on other coin what make me smile .) In my life I lost more money then 1btc, its a little lesson for me and maybe for devs too

Its curious, that devs make calculator , when price is total down, it was actual so 3 weeks ago, not now, if everyone can calc that he has 50GBP+ monthly. I remember times, when ltc was up, for sure btc too and my sweet rigs makes me 50€ DAILY, not monthly...

Maybe because they see the writing on the wall and want to get what they can.  I was mining right at the ninja launch and sold everything at 0.00004950.  Made some money and glad I did.  Just look on coinmarketcap.  When coins fall into the abyss it's unlikely they will rise up.  This isn't a new coin on the rise.  It's an established coin on the decline.  Leaving coins in your wallet for another weeks/months would likely mean that you would get absolutely nothing.

Maybe you want to watch money evaporate but some of us have seen how crypto works and get out when it's time.  I bet many people wish they would have sold at 0.00004950 like I did.

We made a calculator as the feature has been highly requested by our users, so we provided it; it's as simple as that.. We want people to know what they're getting into through providing all the information necessary. We've barely been running a few weeks, and refuse to become yet another part of the pump and dump craziness that has left so many people screwed over. We will add value to the coin, but this takes time and careful planning. If we rush features out in a half baked fashion, we'll kill our own coin!

I like to believe that the people who post the most often on a forum thread, are the ones who care the most passionately about a coin.

This guy 'kocur', the guy who posted right before me ^^^  He posts a lot!  Though his posts may sound negative, he actually really really cares about Hirocoin.

You might say he loves Hirocoin.

He's just doing his best to get us to undervalue our coins and sell them to him for cheap on an exchange.

He sees the value in Hirocoin's potential, just like me and just like you.

Onward Hirocoin, we believe in you.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right.

+1.

I have a feeling some of you guys just come in here and post that question without taking the trouble to read a few pages back Smiley
It's all here. Also, please follow us on twitter if you want the pure, quick and dirty updates.

Our team is growing on a daily basis, in the next newsletter I'll introduce our new members. And we'll introduce new features when they are nearing completion, like n00b's mining calc.
