However to play against experienced teams is still a struggle. The score of 233 runs seems a reachable target, but Sri Lanka is getting better in its bowling order. There are many reasons why the Netherlands in particular failed today, one of which is the high fall of wickets. The two opening batsmen performed slightly better and none of the later players performed well. In this case I see three players getting out for 0 which is unfortunate for Netherlands. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka performed well from the beginning and their performance at the end was the best. Sahan only batted well in Sri Lanka and Maheesh fell by four wickets in terms of bowling. After observing Netherlands perform we can can assume that they normally play good against any weak team. Many of us start dreaming about their team after few good matches but in reality, it is unlikely that it will happen. Because they can't perform as expected with the experienced team. If they had been consistent in batting, they would not have had to play the World Cup qualifiers and make it to the main stage.
