Salt failed to make a half-century for just 5 runs, so far the England team has collected 163 runs for 3 wickets thus if the England team can survive in the end then surely they can collect more than 270 runs. England were good at batting as all team effort give them good target few innings from their youngsters have good impact for the future 325 is good target, but now West Indies is on chase and their start is also good as they have 26 runs in just four overs which mean we are going to have exciting competition between these two struggling teams with their new generation players.

Alick Athanaze playing his 5th ODI having aggressive approach after conceding good runs from England and Brandon King is also giving good support now we have to check here can England new bowling generation keep things at their best if they need more time for having better results Gus Atkinson's first overs are impressive but on other side Sam Curran is struggling as he already concedes 25 runs in just three overs.

Now today things were same bad for England but later some firey innings from brook and some tale under batter managed a good target but but but bowler runied entire thier hard work and struggle because some worst performance from thier bowlers especially curren allow thier opponent batter to settle down build partnership and due that they almost chased down the required Target. Now thier set batters are on crease and required just few runs which they will easily chase down and won the first match

England performance were quite well they done a good job in batting as some of thier player scored handsome amount of runs but I think thier score were not enough to defend against a west indies strong batting line-up or like we can say they lose because of thier bad performance of thier bowlers, if we have a look at England bowlers economy then thier main bowler Sam Curran are on team with a leaking 95 runs in 10 overs like we can say he leak almost 10 runs per over which allow thier opponent to realase pressure play fear less cricket and then done it, thier captain played a significant knock and scored his century in critical situation and chased down the given target and won the Match

I was not expecting that performance from England because we have seen that what the England did in the ICC World Cup. In the England team I still didn't see a best player except Harry Brook in this match he only made 71 runs otherwise no one go above 50 runs. By the they made a good target of 326 runs.

But on the other hand I am surprised to see the performance of West Indies. Alick Athanaze made 66 runs and after that the player of the match Shau Hope the captain and the wicket keeper Played really well and made 109 runs. In these 109 runs he hit 7 sixes and 4 fours.
With this West Indies won the match.

They have three matches series. Let's see what the England will do in the next 2 matches. West Indies played well I hope they will win the series to.

And then they sent a second string team to West Indies. None of the first-choice bowlers (Chris Woakes, Mark Wood, Ollie Robinson.etc) were included in the squad and quite predictably their bowling attack struggled against the West Indian batsmen. The batsmen put up a very competitive total at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, but the bowlers couldn't defend it. Rehan Ahmed had a good outing though (10-0-40-2).

I completely agree with your analysis of England's recent defeat. Their lack of good form, as evident from their performance in the 2023 ODI World Cup, set the stage for challenges. Sending a second-string team to West Indies, especially without key bowlers like Chris Woakes, Mark Wood, and Ollie Robinson, further weakened their bowling attack. It was predictable that their bowlers would struggle against the West Indies batsmen. Of this lack, England was defeated by the West Indies. England's bowling lineup failed to hunt the wicket of Shai Hope. Shai Hope was not out at the end. Shai Hope got 106 from 83 balls making the highest score. He had broken the heart of England's bowlers. His challenging innings resulted in the winning figure for West Indies.

England lost the first match against West Indies by a big margin of four wickets. England batsmen gave a big target to the West Indies batsmen but the English bowlers failed to bowl economically due to which West Indies lost the first match.
