What a great comeback for SMB! I can't believe that they able to win this despite of the 16 point lead. SMB's momentum is the key factor which leads them to victory (plus Jones' misfortune . Congrats to them, they are now one step away from the trophy; but hoping we'll reach Game 7 tho.

For this game, I think it's down to SMB's experience and the fatigue of TNT's main man (Jones). Their (TNT) rotation is limited and the isolation plays for Jones in the last minute was probably a wrong move also since he was clearly exhausted.

I think the defensive style of CS brought back the triumph for SMB here. Look out how his defense against mighty import Jones for the last minutes. The aggressiveness also of JMF helped them to stay closer for TNT at every quarters.
The strategy of TNT was decoded already and Kraken cracked their moment. Go for SMB.

But, I want to have a 3-3 match up so that until Game 7, we could not bet the right team who will get the championship.

It's the experienced who allowed SMB to snatched this game and win from the back, that rally that they've done in the final quarter being paid, TNT stars are exhausted not Jones alone but also Castro and Rosario, while from the other side all SMB players inside have it's respective help to win this game and take the lead from this series.

Not exactly a game-changer but an important piece for SMB. If you take out an important piece in any team, that will be a big deal because they'll have to change their style of play significantly.

Too much expectation for Lassiter without realizing that TNT is really playing good this Finals. Ohh I'm wrong, since the start of the Conference.

Yes, he is good. No doubt about that. And yes a big loss but not that big. SMB is the most complete team in the PBA that even their bench players are not trash.

This is also another factor why I said SMB may have been 3-1 up in my previous comment. TNT doesn't have enough in their team to compete with a complete SMB team. It's harder for TNT to maintain the pace of the game with limited option compared to SMB who has better option.

TNT became careless after starting well in the fourth and went up by 16. SMB also made a lot of good stops and made good runs off the TNT's turnovers. Defense wins championships as they say.

They are very used to it maybe because they got a lot of offensive weapons that even a 20-point lead by an opponent in the fourth quarter is not safe if you are facing SMB and we have seen that over and over again this past few years.

Lost my last 3 bets of this series  , hope this game 6 would be kind to me. Still sticking to TNT.

They are the champion and has been dominating the league so you can expect that they will not easily give up, and based on their games history, SMB are really good in the 2nd half so I'm not surprise that they made a rally in the 4th to win the game, credits to Christian Standhardinger, he was able to stop Jones many times from his drive and if you noticed, Fajardo has a very limited minutes in the 4th because SMB wants a faster squad.

I also like to put a bet on live betting, SMB is +6.5 at 1.57 odds, I think SMB will cover the points if they are unfortunate to loss tonight.

I'm lucky to win my live betting but should be luckier if I just go for the Moneyline, maybe next time, LOL.

this is what I was talking about. TNT is pretty strong right now because of their import and this game only shows how crucial it is to stop this monster Jones so Kuddos indeed to Standhardinger for doing a job on the last minutes of game 5.

He is really one of those underrated guys in PBA, he is already 30 years old but only got recognized during 2017 when he got the first overall drop pick of SMB.

Your'e a TNT fan . 2 words to explain what happened to them in the last 10 mins of the game. THEY CHOKED!!!!!!.

The momentum has switched already and the odds on the market now will favor on the other side now. If you will see, the last minutes of the game is pure ISO of Jones. He doesn't pass that much and he has 6 turnovers on the quarter alone. In the crucial time, he missed his shot that can give them the lead. No flops. Its just the defense of the SMB gave them the win. Clean game for the SMB.

They are using him now for 2 reasons. 1 is because he is a good defender and he can move faster compare to Fajardo. He can cope up with Jones that is why he is playing more now in the Finals. I think the 2nd reason is there are some rumors I saw in the internet that he will be traded in other teams since his minutes in SMB is limited only.

TNT will only choke on the later part of the game which the SMB will capitalize. Jones will get tired because of the minutes he played and almost no rest for the whole game. This is the reason why SMB will catch up on the second half of the game. Even TNT will be the favorite in game 6, I believe the beermen will end it on that same match and no more game 7.

I am a fan of SMB but i don't like what Arwind Santos did to TJ. I know that he is trying to get under the skin of Jones but it's not appropriate to do such kind of thing. Fine is not enough and if i have my way, he should be suspended for x number of games so others will be aware of the sanctions for such act.

SMB will surely do their very best to win this game 6 to end up the series knowing how good TNT if opportunity will be open SMB will grab it right away and not to let it pass, it will be an thrilling game 6 for sure and many will call a bias sides from each teams and blame the refs again expect the unexpected while enjoying watching the finals.

Jones' was right! What Santos did was no longer a "mind game" but an act of racism definitely. Being cocky inside the hard court is considerably good sometimes because it was a way of distracting your opponent but in this case I think it is already hitting below the belt, it was a direct insult. I hope TNT will win this Friday and make his beautiful revenge to that braggart (in a clean and decent way of course ).

According to the news, Commissioner Willie Marcial called him already and fined him with P200k plus 100 hours of community service and I think it's fair enough since it was just a gesture and no physical contact happened.

Ofcourse this is an obvious strategy to distract Jones,Santos did this immature action to make the airport angry and won’t focus on the game clearly.for me php200,000 is not enough for this instead he must not be allowed to play in the next game 6-7 .,this is disrespectful and attitude of a loser since Jones is doing nothing towards him when he made this insult .i am a Beermen fan but I didn’t like what he did yesterday as I am seriously watching the game

I am more on the favor for SMB to win this championship as they are far more experienced in this match but that act Santos gave was pure racism, hope that the community service for him should be against racism.

I am guessing this will really be a grand slam for the SMB only if they will really put more pressure on Jones as he is the one that really plays well for the TNT. It's gonna be tough for SMB as Jones is really unstoppable on the court but knowing the fact that he played many roles and minute plays that will be the advantage SMB gonna take as exhaustion will really blow up for him.
