Even while serving his current indefinite suspension from the PBA, Calvin Abueva continues to hog headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters have reportedly fined their mercurial star an undisclosed amount after playing in an unsanctioned “ligang labas” basketball game in Montalban, Rizal on Monday. Abueva hasn’t played a PBA game since June, after being handed an indefinite ban by Commissioner Willie Marcial for two separate infractions.

This could be some of the reason while his suspension was still not left until now.

With committing offenses against the rules of the PBA like the example above, that would mean he is not really doing things to show the commissioner that he has change and he wants to come back and play, maybe playing outside could give him another income while he is still under suspension but he was not thinking his future violating the rules.

Yes, that is true, i believe that the arrival of Standhardinger is one of the best addition to them.
They are now a big contender in the all Filipino cup. though, i also believe that this is now enough and they should get more star players and gunner.

If all the players will remain healthy, there's chances are certainly high.

And since Anthony was just given a max contract, I'm pretty sure he will be motivated than ever.

But they are better than what they have before.

Without a doubt because Standhardinger is one of the best players in the PBA now.

He's addition really bring impact to this team, with healthy teammates this franchise might get higher chances to reach the finals or greater than what Pringle and Romeo bring to this team. Plus, every player signed a contract to PBA so technically speaking they are private talents of the organization mentioned. That's an example of even how good a player is, if they behave like shit in the court, they will face the consequences.

Abueva will make a comeback but I think it's not the time yet. If PBA will take actions very lightly, the scenario will just repeat. Let Abueva rest for at least 3 seasons. On that long duration, he will surely never be a shit player again once he came back on the court as he will endure again that long penalty. If he doesn't change then he really has an attitude problem and there's no reason now for his PBA career to continue.

A player will be given more minutes if the coaching staff saw some potential on them, so for sure Fajardo that time has no unleash his true potential yet and CJ Perez was also lucky to be playing in a team where there's lack of star player and although he was just a rookie, he was given an opportunity to lead the team and that makes him confident in playing, Ray Parks, this guy should not be in the competition for the reason that he does not look like a rookie, he was playing on the Alab Pilipinas before he got drafted in the PBA.

Fajardo, according to the Beermen, suffered a "complete fracture on his right tibia" during team practice last Feb. 3, needing surgical procedure and a long rehab to get back to optimum health.

When I see the word "indefinitely", that's a sign that it will take him a long period of time to rest and recover.


We were expecting here that they will again dominate in the All filipino cup but with that injury this looks like it's not gonna happen, and although this would bring some good balance on the team since Fajardo is out, but not good since he was suffering from a serious injury.

this is sad news for all beerman fans as San Miguel is one of the favorite in All Filipino conferences as they Mostly Got the Trophy of being a champion.

I am saddened of what happened to Fajardo, it's different when Fajardo is not playing with the SMB, he is the one bringing energy to the team and their shooters are very confident to shoot as they know Fajardo is always their to take the offensive rebounds.

Now they have to play their remaining centers who does not play good minutes when Fajardo was still active.

I'm a SMB fan and this news is..... Damn it really happen on their practice.

I know that JMF will be out indefinitely and there is a possibility that he will be out for the whole conference and will be on the court again in the playoffs if they clinch (which is probably they will).
I have heard some rumors that Vic Manuel will be traded in the SMB for Mo Tautuaa but with this news, I don't think that SMB will agree with this trade right now because Tautuaa will be given more time right now and he will be the starting center now.

I know that JMF will be out indefinitely and there is a possibility that he will be out for the whole conference and will be on the court again in the playoffs if they clinch (which is probably they will).

He will undergo a surgery so probably he will be out for the whole conference since the conference of the PBA is very short.
This is similar to what happen to Cousins of the Lakers where he was injured in the practice and until now he hasn't played yet.

I have heard some rumors that Vic Manuel will be traded in the SMB for Mo Tautuaa but with this news, I don't think that SMB will agree with this trade right now because Tautuaa will be given more time right now and he will be the starting center now.
