Game 2 is very important, actually every game, and based on what I'm seeing now, Ginebra is having a good momentum and with the help of the fans, looks like they'll be taking the lead in the series after this game.

I like this game, it's not like the game 2 where Ginebra takes the 1st half with a huge lead, Meralco seemed to be adjusting well and although they are down, at least they are not down big time. Here we go again, Meralco Bolts after trailing for around 10-12 points, now finally got the lead.

Closing the halftime, Meralco managed to cut the lead to 8 points. 6 minutes later in the 3Q, they got the lead. Both teams also struggle in the 3 points area. Ginebra's seems to slow down after entering the 3rd. Coach Tim should just sit Standhardinger for the meantime. I like the rotation of Ginebra when Joe Davance instead is on the floor. My handicap is at risk.

Meralco won by 9 points, congrats on your win mate. Seems like this is the trend now in this series where Ginebra will lead by two-digit points and then Meralco will catch up in the second half so better to do live betting for Meralco with that high spread.

Besides a lot free throws missed, I believe Brownlee didn't contribute that much on this game. He has only 38% FG while score 19pts which is very low to his average score when they are winning the match. I still don't want to conclude that Meralco got this since they can’t still defeat Ginebra when Brownlee is performing good. A couple of adjustment can make Ginebra comeback on this series.

Defense really is the key here why the Bolts got the victory.
After getting double digits in the first quarter, Brownlee can't score in the succeeding quarters and he only scored 19 points. Putting Hodge on him seems to be effective since he is the only one that can defend him. Maybe putting him in foul trouble would help the Ginebra but how can they do it is the question.

Meralco held Ginebra to scored only 13 points in both 3rd and 4th quarter. Meralco is one of the best defensive teams this season and even Magnolia had a hard time with their impenetrable defense. Maybe lets also add the fact that the Bolts are hungry right now to defeat this Ginebra team after getting defeated by them three times in PBA Finals that is why they are eager to get a revenge against them. Its a chess game so for sure Ginebra will make an adjustment with this loss.

I'm a Ginebra fan but by looking the way things are happening right now, it's Meralco who's taking the business right. They are not afraid and they are more eager competing against the BRGY. A lot of adjustment are needed for Ginebra here, they need to work together and move the ball. I still believe that coach Tim will adjust to this kind of hype the Meralco is playing right now.

They need to overpower and break that momentum. It would not just be surprising but also interesting if Meralco win this series, they all bring SMC down right?

I must admit that we should not underestimate Meralco right now, they rise from a deficit and was able to close the game. I just loss a bet because of this. Well, many are too confident about Ginebra but it looks like they are also struggling. Now Meralco takes the lead and this is a big game for them. On the other hand, Ginebra will surely bounce back it looks like to me now that there will be a game 7 for this finals, both teams are doing exceptional they both deserve to win the title.

The loss of Japeth maybe was not felt by the fans but Ginebra really lack that inside presence that was abused by the Boltz. Meralco is not known to be an outside shooter, they usually drive the ball and they are having the liberty here since only C. Stand can guard, and JB can do the same thing but he cannot do that all throughout the game as it will result for him getting tired early.

3-1 Lead for Meralco is possible and yes Ginebra should do everything to avoid this, it will be hard for them if ever. I didn’t expect Ginebra to lose since they are doing great at first and even have a good lead but then again in the last quarter, good things happened on the side of Meralco. I’ll just bet again with Ginebra, this is their best chance to bounce back.

Yes and that's the reason why I think that this is really going to be reaching the series up to game 7. Well, that's what probably most of us really want to happen.
The longer it is, the exciting for the fans. But for these teams, it's going to be more crucial and exhausting for them so it's not just going to be a physical match but also a mental game which is draining.

They are used to having a game 7, Ginebra is more experience because they have lots of veterans on their roster. Joe Devance is now activated to match up the size of Meralco and somehow he contributed. This is a chess game, every team will adjust every time they lose a game, and expect an adjustment coming from Meralco in game 3.

That is for sure because they're going to be in the tough scenario especially if they become tie at 3-3. I'm guessing that it's going to happen at that point because that's the usual thing in the finals.

Since today is Sunday, the venue might be sold out already and you will see a lot of Ginebra fans cheering for their team. Therefore, I believe that Ginebra will take the lead after the game tonight, but the next game will be Meralco which will even the series to make it a 2-2 series score. Actually, if Meralco will do a great job on Brownlee, their chance might increase because they are moving the ball well compared to the Ginebra IMO.

Meralco got it and maybe the game on Wednesday is going to be Ginebra's. Well, still going to have a long weekend so that Wednesday game could get a lot of crowd too.

Totally agree mate. Justin Brownlee is the key for the GSM comeback on this series. Tim Cone is a very smart coach and he already beat Norman Black before on there previous championship match. GSM players is always relying to JB. When JB performance is good then his teammates show good performance too and vice versa. I don’t know what’s the problem they encounter they show weakness after there 1st quarter lead until they failed to recover. I almost thought GSM will get the lead after there 1st quarter performance.

They were not able to sustain their dominance, Brownlee was defended well in the 2nd half, the reason why his production is lower compared to game 2. Japeth Aguilar's defense will be missed, unlike the Bolts who have Almazan and Hodge doing some pretty good job defending brownlee too.
