After this result Alaves stay in relegation zone and Betis stay in Top 6. Borja Iglesias subbed in second half and changed the whole game. Real Betis did the right thing by hiring Pellegrini, that's obvious.

I was disappoited in the Alaves team lol, you cannot avoid relegation if you get hammered after going 2 goals up in the tie; The game was turned around in Betis favor after the Penalty kick was converted by Iglesias to half the deficit. Good and deserved win by Real Betis; and if they continue this way, could get a top league position for europa league

Damn, why did I turned off game first half lol. Seems that I missed a lot. From what I saw in first half, Betis dominated game, seems that things haven't changed much in 2nd half. Alaves had just few shots on target and managed to convert it into 2 goals. I didn't expected Betis to make comeback, but they saved my bet .
Betis had really poor start this season, but now they're getting better eventually, though it would be difficult for them to fight for spot in Champions league.

Of course Barcelona does hope that the Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid match will end in a draw. That way Barcelona can now be in second place

After watching the match in the first half, I thought Real Betis was going to be defeated today. But in the second half Betis showed their ability. Real Betis won the match by a great comeback and 3 goals in the second half. Ball possession Real Betis 77% and Alaves only 23%. The ball was in Betis' possession in the second half.

Reading the sport news today I noticed something I wanted to share here too: if you guys take Serie A, Premier League and La Liga you will see that two teams from the same city are fighting to win the title on each league. Surprising, uh?

• Serie A - Inter (1) and Milan (2) from Milan
• Premier League - Manchester City (1) and Manchester United (2)
• La Liga - Atlético Madrid (1) and Real Madrid (3)

I put their respective place in the standings between brackets.

Interesting with the coincidence in three big leagues but only Milan have clear opportunities to fight against Inter Milan. Manchester United and Real Madrid have very low hope to beat Atletico Madrid or Manchester United.

If there was no Lionel Messi in Barcelona, I don't think the name Barcelona club will be heard again because most people only know Messi as a mainstay player and become a Barcelona icon because of his extraordinary and agile game and always scores goals.
Yes, that's right, like CR7 when he was at Real Madrid and became an icon of Real Madrid and now Real Madrid is not as famous as when there was CR7.

No one knows. It is the time to challenge the loyalty and love of Messi for Barcelona. Bartomeu was out and has been under investigation. Laporta returns to be a President of the club. Barcelona is amazing joining the La Liga title competition.

If they end this season with only a single title, La Liga, I think it is enough to help Messi feel happy at Camp Nou.

If he needs high salary and personal titles and want to leave, let him go. This will be very selfish attitude and shows he does not love the club as he claims. Salary reduction deal can happen but Messi is still in his good forms and has not moved close to retirement day. Reduction will not be too big percent if happens.

Betis-Alaves was one of the incredible matches of this week really. Alaves got very lucky in the first half that their only shots ended up with goals and Betis missed many chances. But in the second half, there was a totally different Betis when it comes to finishing and they succeeded in breaking their bad luck in the 61st minute. And in the last 10 minutes, Betis managed to score two more goals and made an unbelievable comeback. There is also no doubt that they got a totally deserved win. Betis are at the 6th place and the point difference with Villarreal (which are the 7th) went up to 5 after Villarreal also lost their match vs Valencia away.

My expectations are high from Atletico against Bilbao tomorrow night. Atletico were so close to defeating Real Madrid but they were devastated with their goal in the last minutes. I think they will be more focused now and they will defeat Bilbao. As it is a missing game of theirs, they should be extra motivated to win to increase the point diff to 6 with Barcelona.

They still have a league match which is against Getafe after playing against Bilbao. Therefore, I don't expect them to rotate the squad in this match. I think they will want to do their best to win their missing match. Bilbao's performance in away games so far has been terrible as they only got 2 wins. In addition, they haven't been defeating Atletico away for 10 years.    I think it won't change and Atletico will defeat them here again.
