Atletico really deserves better from the game, they had greater chances to go 2-3 goals, Carrasco and Suarez squandered some great chances, however, the latter played impressively.

It seems that Madrid have had better luck with this result. Playing at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano I thought Madrid would lose in statistics but I was wrong. They win in the number of kicks and ball possession. I saw Casemiro perform well during the match, he is also a goal creator from Benzema. He manages to carry out Zidane  instructions as a hardworking midfielder, he is good at attacking and defending. The result of the match 1-1 is the best, Madrid are still not performing at full strength, many players are still injured. The matche ened on a draw, i think this is good for Barcelona. Barcelona is now 2 points ahead of Real Madrid.

For now, it is good for Barcelona. They can be in the second place for a moment. But don't forget Barcelona still have 2 biggest matches. In matchday 30, Barcelona will play at Real Madrid home and in matchday 35 Barcelona will play against Atletico Madrid. So, don't think it is already safe for Barcelona, the gap is only 2 points. To remember that Real Madrid won't face Atletico Madrid anymore and the remaining matches relatively easier.

Barcelona still has a chance to qualify for the next round of the Champions League, but I know the chance are very slim. They previously qualified for the next round in the Copa del Rey after losing. I hope they will do the same when they play the second leg against PSG. The only way to qualify for the next round of the champions league for Barcelona is by total attack. Koeman has to think about who is the right player because maybe PSG will apply a strong defensive pattern later.

Isn't it weird that 50% of the voters said Real will win the league this year and they are not even in top 2? I mean historically it is very rare that Real is not in top 2, either they win the league or Barca wins and real is second, there is rarely any team between them so they are always first and second together, this year when Real was seen like the team to win, with Barcelona having all that insane situations going on with the last president, and when Messi wanted to get out but forcefully stayed not because he wanted but because of his contract situation, he was forced to play the games, and only 16% of people said ATM will win and I am sure that was after seeing it them at the top, and still Real is third in the league.

Barcelona is strong enough. They have the ability to beat any strong team. There are many young players in the team. They are very talented but they are not very experienced. Koeman is giving them a place in the squad along with Messi so that whatever making them more experienced. But the Barcelona team's defense will remain a bit weak. Koeman should have some experienced defenders in the squad.

Atlético can try to show once more to Real Madrid and Barcelona that their endeavor towards winning La Liga is real. Tomorrow they hos Athletic Bilbao to recover a game not played from the 18th turn. Winning this game Barcelona will stay 6 points behind and Atlético could breathe and realax before their CL game with Chelsea.

As the games played are going to be equalized with Barcelona and Real after this match, Atletico should play much better and win this to have a 6-point gap with Barcelona. I can't say that Bilbao have a nice form lately so Atletico can make use of this also. Imo, Atletico will beat them with one or two-goal diff.

To win La Liga, Barcelona needs to win all the remaining matches to overtake Atletico Madrid. They also still have the upcoming matches, against Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. I am not sure if Barcelona will win all the remaining matches.

To win La Liga, Barcelona needs to win all the remaining matches to overtake Atletico Madrid. They also still have the upcoming matches, against Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. I am not sure if Barcelona will win all the remaining matches.  

Barcelona players are in a very good mental situation now...the match that they have againts atleteco madrid will be in their favor and i believe they will not wast the oppurtunuty to reduse the gap...maybe they havnt a big chance but their chance is do much biger now when you compare with barcelona in the first part of the season

Madrid get 3 draws in its last 6 matches, that represents 50% of their last outcomes, and that's the same for Bilbao, they also get 3 draws in their 6 last matches. Moreover Bilbao has more than a quarter of their matches since the beginning of the season that are draw matchs.
I don't think a draw match is unlikely to occur.

Varane is considering leaving Real Madrid. Is Varane actually a problem if he leaves Read Madrid. I think better substitutes are available for a club like Madrid, but I am not sure they are willing to spend enough in defense, sinces these do not "sell shirts". What are the options out there?

It is a big day for Atletico to play their missing match and increase the gap with Barcelona and Real Madrid. Considering the game between Atletico and Bilbao in this season before ended 1-1, Atletico should show a greater performance to be able to defeat them. Barcelona is very confidently catching up with Atlético and now it is very important to win every game. I had my doubts that Athletic Madrid would be able to become the champion, but they still have a very good chance of doing so. Barcelona has already been eliminated from the Champions League, they will not be able to beat PSG and they will fully concentrate on la Liga. Altetico still has a chance to beat Chelsea and they will have to play in two big tournaments at the same time, which is very difficult in the final stages, where the opponents are very strong.

I'm glad to have bet on Atletico... but with an asian handicap of 0(aka Draw No Bet) on Stake. I felt worry of a draw match this morning actually, and as I can see it wasn't unlikely to happen at all.

My prediction has won and Atletico defeated Bilbao with 1-goal difference. It was really not an easy match for Atletico despite having more impressive statistics. They were under the threat of getting a draw after making a comeback. But they managed to secure the win and they are in a safer condition in the table now.
