Barcelona blew away their 2 goal lead in First half to settle for a draw

It is a big mistake to get a draw in this match. I don't know what's wrong with Barcelona players, they were already leading on the match but ended with a draw. It seems their defensive line very poor and needs to have some changes in the next season.

This is not the La Liga of the times of Guardiola or Frank Rijkaard, this is La liga 2021.

Indeed. La Liga 2021 is very challenging for big teams, including Barcelona. Even they play against a weaker team but the result sometimes unpredictable, it can be a draw or a loss. For football lovers, it is something good because La Liga competition is more competitive. But for the big teams like Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, this can be their bad achievement.

I am the only one surprised to see Atlhetico up there? It is not a high budget team, it is not outstanding in any particular area of the field and it does not have anything that other teams have. It is the perfect example of how you can thrive on others misfortunes. Not to mention that is not having a great performance outside Spain. Is the typical case in which I would have lost my bet.

I agree that ATM is there partially thanks to the failure of Barca and Real Madrid. Not sure if they could stay over there until the end but they have done more than what was expected by their fans. I respect that team and hope they will be the champions this season.

The more interesting, the barca draw. Madrid must win against Granada, Zidane must work hard. If  win, the difference is 2 points with Barca. The last two matches Madrid vs Granada, Madrid also always won. Especially if Atletico lose, Madrid will be in number 1.

Atletico have a huge chance now to claim the title, and all of their remaining games look winnable... but let's not be surprised if they start dropping points, too!

If no miracle happens, Barcelona will no longer be La Liga champions this season. Atletico Madrid is in a very strong position. Because their future opponents are much weaker than them. If Atletico Madrid will play their future match with a little care, they could easily win the title this season.

If they become experienced, Barcelona will become irresistible. Now Koeman should build young talent properly and strengthen the team's defense. Their defense system is never strong even with Pep era. They had less conceded goals in Pep era because their tiki taka dominated matches and did not give opponents any chance to counter attack. After the golden era with Pep, Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, etc. their tiki taka became weaker and their defense system became more vulnerable to counter attacks.

The demand to get full points makes Atletico Madrid players even more motivated to pursue victory against Real Sociedad. On the other hand, Real Sociedad also need a win to secure its position in 5th place in order to qualify automatically for the Europa League. This match will be very exciting, because both teams both need victory but on different missions.
Here I don't dare say Atletico Madrid will win easily, because Real Sociedad always makes it difficult for the big La-Liga teams.
