The Blaugrana are at a turning point having lost Lionel Messi, who went to PSG after his contract with the Catalans ended. The newcomers Aguero and Depay will have a huge weight on their shoulders for this reason.
Barcelona are coming from a season that needs soon to be forgotten. Koeman's team finished in third place, while in Champions League they went out in the round of 16 against PSG. The only consolation is the conquest of the Copa del Rey.
Today against Real Sociedad Barça should win but I wouldn't exclude a draw, the safest bet's Home or Draw.

Even as a Barca fan, I'm literally going to sit out placing any bet on Barcelona for the time being, I'd just watch and enjoy the team would adjust to life after Lionel Messi. Sociedad are always a tough nut for Barcelona, even Messi was here, it wouldn't get any easier today, I'd guess. A narrow win for Barcelona I'd say.

That should be a cracking match, I plan to watch it as well. Perfect opponent to show us how will the Barca look without Messi, good enough to make them give their best and at the same time not really a title contender. Mostly looking forward to see who will be in charge of all set plays now when the king is gone.

I am hoping Pedri got extended holidays, I believe he played more games then any other player in the past season, only ending it in Olympic games final recently. If he is already back in the club that could cost him the season later on due to injuries or fatigue, both physical or mental.

Celta Vigo cannot be considered a very weak team. They play well enough. I think the result of the match will be a 1-1 draw.

Of the 4 La Liga matches last night only Real Madrid got 3 points and the others got 1 point that was something unexpected for me, maybe this will be a more difficult season. Considering, even though Madrid won big but the fact that the goal was only created in the second half at least it proves that they are not easy to make goals fast and can play disciplined in the first 45 minutes.

In the first half, Alaves showed a pretty strong game, and they had dangerous chances. After the goal, Alaves had to go ahead with all his might, and Real Madrid took advantage of this quite effectively. I liked the game of Bale, Azar and Alaba. I think if Bale and Azar do not have injuries during the season, they will be the leading players of the team.

It was clear the difference in the quality of the two teams in that match and we could see how madrid really dominated possession, while Alaves only played defensively and tried to take advantage of the counter-attack and Alaves' solid defense in the first half made the score ended in a 0-0 draw, but the second half made madrid played quite superior and was able to beat alaves with a score of 4-1, although madrid got its first win with a landslide score, but actually alaves is not real test for madrid in my opinion.

Celta Vigo has been a tough team and can be a barrier for strong teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, but one thing about Atletico Madrid is that if they scored a goal already, the match can end up 2 to zeor or 1 goal to nothing as they usually play. I have been thinking Madrid will win this game because they have a strong defence.

I think that in this season without Messi it's going to be though but Griezmann's needs to take the opportunity to prove his true potential with Barcelona, because he is the only team that can do Messi's country by going deep and moving freely on the field.
What Koeman will use this season, and an additional technical point that Griezmann adds, is the pressure and the ability to defend with the full-back, who is in the same direction.
A lot expectation from will be on him to be closer to fill in Messi more then Depay.

Yes, Barcelona started well, Gerard Pique scored already at the 19th minutes assisted by Memphis Depay, which means Barcelona is leading already. I believe Barcelona will win this match, I did not doubt that before because Real Sociedad should not be a threat to Barcelona. Even if Barcelona still win this game, I am still doubting if the club will still perform strong like before this season.

Well yes. Real Madrid under Ancelotti guard will play well as they always did as last time we was with Real , he won UCL. Last night game prove that Bale is back on his form and I've read that he is training like never before in order to get back as close as possible to his best form.

Personally I had doubts on Barcelona game but they already have 3-0 and basically game over.

3-0 that's a done deal. I think Barcelona will still compete for the championship this season. I doubt they are better than Real Madrid. I think it would go right. And at the moment Barcelona is pushing hard to make it 4-0.

The Spanish League has lost its significance, quality and attractiveness in a short time due to the departure of top football stars such as Ronaldo, Neymar and Messi whose marketing value is enormous.

How? I mean how do you move from La Liga to EPL? One of them is a Spanish league and one of them is English league, how do you move your team from one nation to another nation? This is Real "Madrid", what are they going to do, make everyone move from UK to Spain for every game? Or have 20 games they move to UK? That's not going to happen, not just because of cost but the discomfort of moving there all the time doesn't really make any sense at all.

I personally would say that the best we could do probably would be just have a super league by UEFA themselves. I get that teams wanted to build one, and with huge names running a whole league with like 18 teams or even 20-22 teams that would make more money than any other league in the world eventually, maybe not right away but eventually they may end up doing that, who wouldn't want to watch a league like that? But, UEFA didn't allow teams, so maybe they should do it themselves?

I had already foreseen it a bit beforehand that Barcelona would easily win this match. Play at home, and with a great selection. Messi is gone, but this team still seems good enough. Braithwate is perhaps better and above all more effective than many people think. That header was a rocket.

real madrid played very well and I was very happy with this victory. I'm starting to think they can win the league this season if they keep playing well like that.
