Maybe Atletico Madrid seemed to be the favourite on paper but I wasn't believing in them too much to win this match. Because eveyone knows how terrible they have been for many weeks in the La Liga. And there was no reason for them not to maintain this bad form here too. Athletic Bilbao benefited from their condition in a great way and defeated them by 2-1. And they are Real Madrid's opponent in the final round of the Super Cup.

Tomorrow they play an away match with Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey, I wonder if they will fly out of this tournament, will this shake Simeone's position as head coach?

I think so. Real Madrid with Carlo Ancelotti don't have big conflict among coach and players or players vs players. So they are playing very good and in match against Barcelona, Benzema did not try to shot because his team mate was moving forward to make a shot. In the end, it's a goal for Real Madrid. I don't know what's wrong with them this season but the difference in their performance this season and last season is really very different.

The El Clasico was really great and I totally was delighted with it. Maybe many people were expecting Barcelona not to be a big competition for Real Madrid as they are still having difficulties in winning games. Maybe it happened because other teams got used to their game? Although it's hard to deny that their strongest asset (defense) is faltering this season. It's funny that in the entire last championship, Atletico conceded 25 goals, and at the moment, with 18 more games ahead, they have already conceded 24 goals.

Well when you see ATM leading with 1 goal you have the feeling that they almost made it but what a disappointment to see them kicked from Supercopa.. I don't know if Bilbao is a worthy opponent for Madrid but if Madrid underestimate Bilbao of course something surprising can happen the key is Bilbao can't get space so their game doesn't grow.

Yes I find ATM slightly easier opponent for Real Madrid than Bilbao. Of course Real Madrid can win big vs Bilbao but that team resists well vs top teams. In their games in La Liga RM won twice vs them with 1 goal difference.
You cannot predict Bilbao performance but we all know how bad ATM is this season.

With ancelotti men meeting Athletic Bilbao in the coppa dereye final I think Madrid  will win this cup, I think Atletico Madrid would have face them men to men but unfortunately they lose in the final then I know the final won't be interesting because Madrid must surely win that game.
