Well after so many lost points and lost matches they were able to win against a really good opponent. I didnt bet on this match due to a bad form by Atletico Madrid. Hopefully they will now continue a good run and try to be in the top 4 and make good results

IMHO, much as it's an unpopular opinion, Asensio doesn't seem to be at his best right now and is very predicable with his left foot on the right flank of Real Madrid's attack. Bale gives a new dimension in attack. Maybe he would do well coming in as a sub.

If you compare Asensio and Bale, you must know Asensio is much better. Asensio can give a real contribution in some matches during this season, delivering assists and creating goals. While Bale, I didn't see him deliver any assists or goals this season, probably because he rarely played. So, choosing Asensio as the starter in this match is the right move for sure. In my humble opinion, the best trio strikers of Real Madrid this season are Vinicius-Benzema-Asensio.
