Yes, of course they will use it to increase the strength of their squad to navigate the second round in the domestic league and in the Champions League. Many teams have been waiting for this transfer window, including the 2 candidates for this season's La Liga championship. Atletico Madrid will also take advantage of this to bring in new players to help boost the team's recent slump.

There are no many strikers who are available in the market. The ones that are available are not as good as the quality that Real Madrid will want but however any kind of striker that Real Madrid wants, they will be able to get him with money and because of the prestige of the club,  unless it is PSG that is contesting it with them then you know that PSG can always spend them to it

Atletico Madrid's performances have been poor since the start of the season. Their performance in the previous season made it quite clear that there are several weaknesses within their team. And they needed several talented players to get their stability this season. But Atletico Madrid's management is very stingy. They are not interested in spending money to sign players. And so the performance of Atletico Madrid is very erratic. They have won only 7 out of 14 matches. Atletico Madrid has lost and dropped points against very ordinary teams this season. They have not played well till now. And they have also been very inconsistent in their performances.
They have lost against Cadiz and probably won't win against Mallorca. You know, these are the points they have to secure.

I really think they need a change of authority because I do not see the team heading anywhere. If they really want to keep the coach I will say that they should make a complete overhaul of the team. But I think it will be a better option to bring in a new coach.

Barcelona has been taking the last financial clever last season and barcelona has sold everything for the last transfer season. This time xavi didn't have so much money to buy the new players for the club.
Barcelona was only looking for free transfer players. As far as i know there would be so many players will be selling barcelona in january and that will help barcelona to get additional funds but that will not be so big like last season when barcelona was selling its tv shares.
