Barcelona is the ideal opponent for Real Madrid in the final match, so Barcelona should be able to win their semifinal match. And if a meeting between these two rivals does happen it will be even more exciting because it is an opportunity for both clubs to show who is the better of them. In La Liga, Real Madrid's balance was slightly disturbed by experiencing a negative result in their last match l, while Barcelona was able to widen their points again because they managed to get 3 points in their 16th week. So I hope this final match will bring Real Madrid vs Barcelona.

Indeed, I also hope that in the final of the supercopa later Real Madrid will face Barcelona. For that Barcelona must beat Real Betis in today's game, otherwise this ideal final will not happen. This is also reminiscent of the El Clasico match in La Liga, we know the tension in the match between the two is very high and there are always many fouls in the match and even a rain of yellow cards is inevitable when these two teams meet. But Real Betis were able to equalize at 1-1. Looks like this fight has become more difficult than I imagined. Obviously they would rather be in UCL, but I am not sure if winning europa has anything similar in UCL, like if you won UCL that's better than winning europa, and if you are at finals and lose there it's a bad psychological thing but I would say it's still better than winning europa to be fair, but I would rather win europa than get eliminated at semi finals of ucl. So they are still not too bad, they could do something great.

Everyone must be surprised, but it is the reality. Sevilla seems to have a big problem, not sure what it is. I guess, it is not only about tactics or player motivation, it may be more complex (more complicated). But in the last match, we see an improvement in Sevilla performance. They can win with 2 goals, which showed that they still have the motivation to stay in La Liga. barcelona's victory on penalties is the same as real madrid yesterday and finally they met in the spanish super cup final, i think barcelona will set a strategy for the meeting in the final against real madrid, because barcelona is really fasting for a title, winning this super cup will certainly giving Barcelona confidence to get another title

Robert Lewandowski is back in the starting eleven for Barcelona to face Real Betis in the Spanish Super Cup semifinals, based on official starting eleven announced few minutes ago and Barcelona used all their main player in this match. Seems Xavi Hernandez keep priority with this trophy due will be his official tittle after having two season with Barcelona as manager.

Seems not applicable with three matches punishment received by Robert Lewandowski and happening in La Liga only, actually he was absent one match only after missing against Atletico Madrid and left two matches later his named not in starting line up Barcelona players in La Liga.

He literally scored and appeared on the score sheet but one of them goal was called off by var to be offside, this is not much of a great performance from Barcelona though especially in midfied as they're a bit sloppy with the introduction of Busquet.
Robert Lewandoski was missing in the game against Athletico Madrid but he'll be back against Re Madrid when they face themselves in the finals. I think those three match suspension are just meant for the La Liga and not Super Cup games as this tonight.

Barcelona has won major trophies over the years and that, infact has kept them grounded -- to a point that even a mere super cup won't do much harm if it's lost for El Madrid, but that's not gonna happen anyways.
It's a probably fair competition so far... Madrid has got a concrete squad that sometimes I thought they've got slimmer chances of loosing, but it happens that they lost to Villarreal and kept on struggling the rest of their time on a game with Valencia yesterday -- and it yielded only a single point for them as it ended 1:1.
I don't know if the confidence that anyone would claim to have, really matters at this point -- cus the least, unexpected happenings could lead to any of the two going home with the trophy.

It was a hard-fought win by Barcelona honestly. I was waiting for Betis not to yield that easy and that was exactly the thing happened. They carried the game to penalties even though Barcelona got ahead once again in extra time. Betis were just bad in penalties and lost it by 4-2. Juanmi and Carvalho missed their penalties.

Still Betis must be contented with their performance. They were just unlucky to play against Barcelona as there was a big strength difference on paper. Now we are going to see a finale between Barcelona and Real Madrid in only two days.

Real Betis and Valencia are respectable teams and tried hard to pass but failed against fierce opponents.
In the final game there will be some tensions since Barcelona failed last time in EL Classico and they are leading La Liga with 3 points gap from Real Madrid and they are also eliminated from UCL so they will try to secure at least a trophy this season which could be the Supercopa and why not La Liga
