It's true that Joao Felix's fate is quite unlucky, even though he looks very comfortable at Chelsea but with Pochettino he can't get his name into the squad list. It must be admitted that his talent is now starting to fade if it is not immediately handled by the right team and maybe when he returns to Atletico he will feel that he cannot develop his talent.

I'm trying to guess from some of the discussion of these replies, is it meant to replace Benzema with Kylian Mbappe?
Nothing to look forward to now that the transfer window is closing in and there is no official word on Kylian Mbappe imminent arrival at Real madrid.

I've not really seen reports that Barcelona are interested in Joao Felix but a swap deal would not be a bad deal. Atletico want Barcelona's Frank Kessie and Ferran Torres. These two players could go to Atletico while Felix head to Barcelona.

The problem is Felix's preferred position is the supporting strike and that position doesn't exist at Barcelona. Except Felix would be used a a left winger, it's going to be a problem for him to shine in Barcelona.

It seems like that was the main agenda for mbappe. He doesn't wanna lose his compensation as well. Mbappe has been rumored to get a lot of offers from the various clubs. Real madrid was not even sending a bid for mbappe.
That's a possible scenario to happen. Mbappe's mother is in discussion with PSG. We will see what kind of agreement is being reached by PSG and mbappe's mother. It's very hard to tell that if mbappe will be staying till next year caused by PSG intends to sell him as soon as possible.

Some clubs have interest to buy mbappe but his clause release was too big even for EPL clubs. Real madrid will not care about that till next year. The club is now focusing on getting a new striker. The Mbappe, PSG and Real Madrid saga is taken much time as Mbappe is yet to determine is final decision to PSG. PSG are being careful of not to lose Mbappe to a free transfer and Real Madrid that wants him, I’m not sure they’re  ready to pay the asked price for Mbappe by PSG. We don’t know or can tell how long this deal is going to end but a final minute decision will be made concerning this and I’m very optimistic about it happening which come as a shock to all of us.

Let's take it as simple as possible:
 - Mbappe refused to extend his contract and will leave PSG next year for free.
 - PSG don't want to lose one of their best player and in case it is the case then not a double loss = him in person + money related to his exit.
 - Real Madrid is not in rush and could wait for another year to get Mbappe for free.
=> Losers = PSG only
=> Winners = Mbappe and Real Madrid

I think if Mbappe really wants to join Real Madrid and leave PSG he can stop even talking about extending his contract with PSG but the Mbappe we saw can still change his mind and stay in PSG just like the last time when they sent him an offer from Real Madrid and we were even waiting for Mbappe to sign contract with Real Madrid but in the end he changes his mind and extended his contract with PSG to stay there.
