I think Real Madrid hasn't focused on this at the moment because they are still working on signing players to be able to grow to their best strength next season. I think Ancelotti may be kept in the winter transfer window but it is possible that Real Madrid will look to replace him in the winter transfer window or when his contract expires.

If I agree with what you say, for me things in Madrid have to concentrate a lot on knowing how to buy the players, because there are big gaps, and it is hard to have players that have the same or better quality, in this window of transfers, Madrid must buy and buy, because despite having great players, they need to have a squad that is good enough to form two teams within a team that is prepared for the games that are not so complicated to play.

Also, as far as I remember, the last time Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez seemed to have parted in labor relations in not the best human relations at the same time. Odegaard has indeed grown in Arsenal as an important player but with Arda Güler's arrival to Real Madrid is indeed a long term investment, I know he will not get a place for the first in the next season may be more adapting and adjust to his new coach, if Arda Güler's skil has shown good talent in Real Madrid so he can get a place in the main squad even though the age is still very young.
