Today Atletico Madrid have a big chance to leave Barcelona behind in the standings. They can even do this despite having one less number of games played in the league so far. The opponent is Alaves tonight and on paper this is a quite nice opportunity for Atletico Madrid to maintain the winning streak in the La Liga. Alaves are out-of-form these days.

However I'm not sure about their winning by a quite big score like 4-0 or so. Atletico Madrid can be quite unpredictable with this but I'm at least confident about them to win one way or another while going on a solid form. It would be good to make up for the Celtic draw as well.

Atletico Madrid, winners of five straight weeks in La Liga, drew away to Celtic in the Champions League in midweek. Gimenez's situation is still unclear in defense but so far Witsel has been doing a good job in that area. With Barcelona dropping points in El Clasico, Atletico Madrid will have a better chance of topping the table if they win this game despite having a game in hand.

Alaves drew with Villarreal after Betis. It was important that they didn't lose in a difficult fixture but Betis were short handed and Villarreal were in crisis. I think it will be difficult for Alaves to show the same resistance in the Metropolitano against Atletico, who are unbeatable under Griezmann. I expect a high scoring victory for the hosts, who won at this stadium last season.

I have a big doubt on the Barcelona ability to win the season trophy because at this point the club lost their Saturday game against Real madrid is obvious that Barcelona may be in for a big surprise in this season and also even though their were able to beat Real Madrid to it last season to take the trophy from them and this is what has really made real madrid to make every possible attempt to win the game by all means since there is a vent on recovering their lost glory.
But then also, we have to wait to see whatever will happen as time goes on and even though the season is already taking shape and clubs building a good foundation that will aid their winning in the entire league it makes more sense that some of the clubs are out for revenge just like Real Madrid.

Personally I still see Girona to be temporarily occupying that position because sooner than later they will be displaced by some better team because they are yet to have the capacity and consistency to maintain that position just like you did mention, they are still the surprise team and they season hasn't gone halfway yet so there's still enough time to get them displaced.

Real Madrid is currently showing so much of dominance and will soon be at the top of the league, I'm sure by the time Barcelona recovers from all of it's injuries they may aswell have the matching strength to contend for the top spot on the table but for now they are gradually crawling up, it's a matter of time and the true top position holders will be known.

I quite agree with you because this is just the eleventh match which the still have 27 to go, I only consider this winning for real Madrid for them to have breathing space since Barcelona is the only that can be able to stop them from carrying the league. I will still said this is the beginning of the season because anything can change, I don't have any thought that Barcelona will draw Granada who only win only one match since from the beginning of the season and manage to be in number 19 in the table, I think is too early to conclude. Both the teams are in good form now, I also don't consider Barcelona defeat to be the end for them because there is still tendency for Barcelona to win the league.

That's very true and also, maybe previously at least Vinicius would have been assumed to be the next Real Madrid legend. But what is happening now, when Bellingham plays it makes Real Madrid and even the England national team have a chance to win and if they fail to win, at least they still have a good chance of getting a point through a draw. Cadiz started the match very well and actually missed a great opportunity. Sevilla is a good team, it is not easy to get ahead with a 2 goal difference against them. At least for a team like Cadiz
It would be good for them if they could get 2 more points from here, they are not a very assertive team anyway, but the matches between teams that are close to each other in the points rankings are more valuable. Barcelona saw signs in yesterday's El Classico encounter because he was a threat to them and he upset them with that. I agree that he is a serious issue for them and not only them but in the world of football in general.
I'm not sure how to put it, but Dortmund made another huge mistake by allowing Bellingham go when they don't have a player of his quality to replace him. Nonetheless, Real Madrid has him now, and he has been a fantastic signing for them, as the fans are now thrilled because his performance is worthy of being classified as a world class player, and he is playing to the satisfaction of the supporters.

Unfortunately luck was on Madrid's side, yesterday's result should have been a draw, but Bellingham gave a surprise in the last minute, causing Barcelona to lose points and suffer defeat. I do agree that Xavi has done very well so far at the head of Barcelona, and I believe that there is a possibility he could manage this team for another 10+ years if both parties agree. We do not see that type of thing usually, we see managers leave after some years, we do not get managers with 10+ years at the same club, not at the top of big clubs at least.

If Xavi could stay, he could definitely gradually make the team better and better and could even help with getting rid of the debt as well by building the roster from the youth setup more and more. I remember clearly during his playing time with Iniesta and Messi period, there was a game where they played with 11 la masia players, why not try to have that again?

I'm suprised at Girona's performance this season, i didn't expect them to get the far at a point i felt they'll drop point but they've been very consistent and has refused to drop points however about finishing top 3 im not very sure about that, though it's very possible but im pretty sure they won't finish above Barcelona even though they're above them currently,  when they start getting much injuries or being affected by fatigue we might see them drop points.

Even though he can represent La Liga in the Ballon d'Or, the award is individual. La Liga will only get more fans because of competitive top players like Bellingham and others, but Bellingham is only a player who has just finished his first 3 months in La Liga.

Bellingham not a striker even though this season he has scored a lot of goals for Real Madrid, but players like Bellingham are always interesting. I hope Barcelona also has players like Bellingham in the future who will make these two teams compete fiercely both individually and as a team. Barcelona actually didn't play too badly, it's just that they couldn't maintain their composure until the end of the match and they were unlucky because they didn't have a good finishing touch in this match. I think Barcelona played more dominantly in the first half, but this condition changed when Real Madrid played more aggressively in the second half (especially after Camavinga entered the field) and this disrupted Barcelona's rhythm. It was clear that when the match entered the final minutes, Barcelona seemed to lose their concentration, and their defense line often made mistakes.

There is nothing wrong with the game shown from Barcelona and Madrid because after all they are balanced and both do not want to defeat eachh other, it's just that in this match Madrid can get points but Barcelona also played very well in this match.
Jude is a player to watch out for from the start and indeed given the circumstances of the game Jude is not only a player  who can organize the attack but his ability is completely different in Madrid.
Jude's performance this season remind me of Inzaghi in that the ball seem to come to Jude for him to convert into a goal. This match we also saw that Jude's rocket from outside the box was absolutely stunning.

I must say this is a true definition of consistency, nobody expected that from Girona. They could go ahead to even win the next four La Liga games they will play before facing Barcelona. Impressive way they have acquired points around their fellow smaller clubs while waiting for the big boys. In the last five games, one lose is such a good result, the coach has done well.

I love Real Madrid heaven knows but I have that feeling Barcelona will retain the La Liga at the end of this season still.
Shout out the Jude Bellingham, Kepa, Camavinga and Luka Modric. They're my MVPs in that game. They helped Real Madrid win the first El Classico of the season.

I don't think it's for this reason, especially the one about the financial situation. perhaps it can be seen from the purchases made by the two teams. In the past, when El Classico happened, we really couldn't guess who would win. because both of them are really strong. Not only that, sometimes, the club that plays better is not necessarily the one who will be the winner in El Classico because after all, the club that can optimize all the opportunities available to score a goal will ultimately be the one who wins. In this case, if you look at the statistics, both of them played equally well and there is nothing wrong with either of their strategies. However, in terms of execution, Real Madrid has a better performance here. especially when it's Bellingham. he is truly extraordinary when executing when scoring goals. especially his game-winning goal in the final moments. This must have really surprised the Barcelona players. I thought at first the result would be a draw seeing how both of them played and also attacked each other. Although in the end this is only an individual achievement, it is also a great enticement for La Liga. The problem is that the Ballon d'or is not seen in terms of their performance from the club alone but several other factors must also support it.
Bellingham is clearly being hailed by Madrid fans but it's early days for him because he's still so new that when he goes too high he'll have to be prepared for the bumps in the road.
It would be great if he can continue to compete but it won't be easy because the higher and bigger a player's name gets, the heavier it becomes for him.
