The performance of Lewandowski in Barcelona has been very disappointing so far in this season and this play didn't start the season well. Maybe it would have been better for him and Barcelona if this player had left Barcelona for the Arabian teams during last summer because so far Lewandowski hasn't scored a single goal in the six games and this is enough to say Lewandowski is under pressure in Barcelona. the lack of clinical forward makes Madrid struggle to face the low block of defensive line of their opponents. this is one of the reasons that bellingham is their Top scorer right now.

Robert Lewandowski is no longer looking stunning this season. It seems like his age has really affected his performance. In fact, not all players over 35 years can maintain the good performance they have. And it seems that Robert Lewandowski is one of the players who cannot maintain his performance even though he is no longer young. But still he is still really needed at Barcelona. Because there is no suitable player to replace him. But I want to say honestly that actually other players in the current Barcelona squad also have almost the same decline in performance. They seem to have experienced a decline in self-confidence. I hope Xavi can overcome this soon. Because I hope Barcelona can continue to go further in the UCL. Honestly, I also observe the same thing in his performance; he is no longer performing like before, and I think that due to his age, many players are not performing excellently when they reach 35yrs, and I think with his current performance, we can count him among them. However,  I also think it’s because they don’t have anyone else, which is why he is still playing for them. Till when they get new players, Xavi should take the necessary steps before things get worse for them. But looking at Benzema and how he is doing in the desert doesn't feel like giving him away was a big loss. I doubt that he would have been a great striker this season. More injuries are coming to him and he also lost some steam to show top performances. But I think Real Madrid doesn't have a big striker problem. They are still ok and it is not like the worst case scenario which is sometimes painted here. If they can get along with Bellingham this season to fill that gap whenever possible and Joselu also scores more or less reliably, they have all options for next season to go all in on a striker position financially.

Benazema’s performance there shouldn’t be linked to what he was playing at Real Madrid. If not for being an injury prone on the Saudi professional league, he’s still doing well there although not as much when he was still in La Liga playing for Real Madrid. I think the level of seriousness and quality football still depends on the environment you find yourself and how competitive it is to play in such leagues.

Depending on Bellingham will be a very risky thing to do for them, he is actually doing well now and contributing to most of the wins in that club but we can’t say for how long and if his performance remains consistent, he could go on injury at anytime which we don’t pray for. Diversifying your choice of players is very good for the team so that they can have more options to play with when any unforeseen situation occurs.

I have a slightly different opinion looking at and analyzing Girona upcoming match against Rayo, it is likely that it will not end in a draw and the chances of victory will be greater for Girona even though Rayo succeeded in holding off Real Madrid attack, but against Girona I believe the surprise will come when Girona manages to beat Rayo and will have difficulty ending the match in a draw.

I have not seen what the odds are for Girona and Rayo but I am sure Girona will win.

I can't believe a club like Girona that just moved up from relegation barely a year ago could have done the great things they've already done. In the last season, they finished 10th on the table just after being promoted. Maybe that was to stabilise themselves and get acquainted with the La Liga 1st division, however, what is happening now shows that they really understand the game and I don't see them ending this season lower than the 4th position if they continue like this. They've been impressive even in the friendly matches and have beaten unexpected teams this season. Therefore, I will not think less of such a club to beat Rayo Vallecano which has had a lower rating than them.

But I will still not limit praises on Rayo Vallecano as they are so good with their defence and have tried to concede fewer goals recently. It would be more tasking for Girona to slice through their defense which is another issue at hand. But the good news is that the scoring sense of Rayo Vallecano is also weak, a moderate defence from Girona might be an issue for them to penetrate as well. Meaning that if Girona could mount more pressure on Rayo Vallecano's defence, they may not score much but they might score at least once and a maximum of 2 goals.

It seems Arda Güler is still not in good form, when Real Madrid hired this young player, we were expecting to see an amazing performance from this young Turkish talent but he was mostly injured during this season and he couldn't have much chance to prove his himself.

So football works your way by saying Girona would win? Lol! Girona for the past few weeks have got to be my favorite to maintain the top of the league until January but in a game like this, I'm hoping they could get a win too and at the same time, looking at their chances just same way it's got to be. I'm also banking on Girona to score the highest goals in the second half since they have done consecutively for the last three fixtures in La Liga.
They could end up winning, losing and drawing. It's either my bet seals or Girona wins and maintain the top. Having that club makes the table consistent and motivates smaller clubs to go harder to the top.

I won't be boggled seeing them replicate Leicester City as they went on to win the Premier League that same year.

I believe that Girona will lose eventually, they can't keep this up, would it be this game? I have no idea, they may win or lose this game but that doesn't change the fact that I can see them be fourth at best this season.

I think Real and Barcelona will be the top two, and Girona will fight against ATM for the third position, to be fair they may end up winning that fight and ending the season third place as well, that wouldn't be really a shocker, but they could end up being fourth as well, that wouldn't be a shocker neither. In any case, I do not see a single chance for Girona to end up either first or second on this league, not this season, they need to grow a lot more for that to be a possible thing for them in the end.

About Lewandowski, im very surprised by his bad performance in this last run, i dont know what is happening to him , or also the team is not prividing him with good balloons so he can strike.

It is Lewandowski own desire to play at Barcelona and also, Lewandowski is under a fairly long contract at Barcelona until 2026, while Lewandowski age is no longer young . With these factors, then I sure Lewandowski will not leave that quickly because after all, it seems Lewandowski has a high interest in playing at Barcelona . So ya, it doesn't matter that Barcelona lost and or Lewandowski played badly in his last match because of course, Barcelona also still has a good chance to qualify for the last 16 in the Champions League. Also in La Liga, although this season Barcelona is not as good as last season with great dominance in La Liga, but at least Barcelona is also still fine because Barcelona can compete well in the top four positions in La Liga this seasons.

Yes, I agree that the next match for Real Sociedad is going to be easy. Because the next match is against Almeria. And they are at the absolute bottom of the table. They are yet to win a match in this season. So it should be a walk in the park for Real Sociedad. Let's be honest, the performance from Real Sociedad has been a little inconsistent so far. And this is going to be a great chance for them to grab three points. If they cannot pick up three points from this match, it is going to feel like they lost the match, even if it is a draw.

Yeah, Girona is very prolific in scoring. And I already said would choose to bet on the better option for me in Draw or Away (Girona). Considering that Girona is currently at the top in the standings La Liga, this will make them even more motivated to stay away from Real Madrid. At least the possibility are in that direction right? rather than choosing to take the risk of betting on the draw result anyway.

Maybe it was due to injury, which caused his bad performance. After all, Lewandowski also already old. Who know, maybe you'rw right! But also Barcelona doesn't have a lot of money to recruit a high-class other striker, and Lewandowski contract will expire in 2026, so I think Barcelona will probably continue to use Lewandowski services for next season.

Barcelona loosing to Shakhtar Donetsk is a sign that they are gradually loosing their strength this season, you could recall that after the el clasico, they have been characterized with some inconsistency in their performance most recently and some times struggle.

They did performed slightly above average against Shakhtar Donetsk but loosing was not expected of them even tho we know that it has little to no impact on their qualifications to the next stage of the champions league but then it was somehow disappointing that they lost to a team that will be considered average in the UCL, before the match we would think they would have no challenge winning Shakhtar Donetsk, I hope Barcelona doesn't continue in this form and improve better.

I agree with you, we know that Girona is quite easy to beat by teams that are much stronger than them. We know that Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico will not let Girona lead the standings arbitrarily, so they could become a direct threat in the hunt for the championship trophy this season. On the one hand, Girona looks like they will be able to finish in the top four of the standings when the season ends, this can clearly be seen from the way they have secured 3 points in every match they have played.

Maybe the luck they have now is due to the lack of injured players, and the small number of matches they have, so they are able to be like today. The competition will be fiercer when the season enters the second half, we will see whether Girona can overcome the heavier pressure there, personally I doubt that.
