Slept off during the Girona game. It was 0-0 at half time so I was pleasantly surprised (but happy) that Girona collected all 3 points and are back to winning ways. That 3-0 win is a good goal margin to get back to winning games. If Madrid had drawn yesterday then it would've had some really nice impact on the table standings but nonetheless, I'm still glad they got 3 points from the Rayo game.

If Madrid loses any  more points, Girona needs to be in a good position to pick up maximum points. I have a feeling that the title race is far from over.

Girona got a glimmer of hope after one of Girona players (Pep Chavarria) received a red card. One player's advantage was immediately used to increase their lead. Real Madrid's games against Sevilla are usually always enjoyable and full of goals, but lately Sevilla haven't been winning at all. I don't think that will change today. Sevilla have been in a very bad situation this season. They were even in serious danger of relegation, but they have recovered a bit in recent games. In the last 4 games they fix their defense and have conceded only 2 goals. They collected 8 points and moved away from the relegation zone. I don't think they have many expectations for this game. This is not their target game anyway. Real Madrid will win and not let Barca get their hopes up.

Sevilla is no longer productive in scoring goals and I also don't see En-Nesyri's ability to score goals this season compared to the last few seasons being very different. Sevilla was very disappointing and even the presence of Ramos in the team was not able to make their defense stronger and in fact they conceded very easily even though they were only facing an ordinary team. But in the previous five matches there were many changes made by Sevilla, especially the defense line which was getting better and more solid.

In this match, Sevilla made it very difficult for Real Madrid, but I saw that their defense was a little better so that Real Madrid had difficulty scoring goals. Sevilla is in 15th place in the standings and is a little safer than the relegation zone, but they have to get back on the right track because at the start of the season they played so badly that it affected the points they got.

I don't know if it's because Girona's form dipped since their 3-2 loss to Mallorca in Copa Del Rey last month, they lost quite a bit including that Madrid thumping. That was my conviction on Girona heading into this Rayo game — even in the game build up, they looked focused and eager to get back to winning ways.

I agree on the other point about Madrid staying atop for the remainder of the season. Girona had a nice run but they fact that they can't prove that against Madrid means Madrid is a much more superior team despite Girona's form this season.

Now Girona has regained its confidence after 3 consecutive matches they failed to get 3 points so their position was shifted by Barcelona. Now Girona will be more focused on remaining consistent because Barcelona also wants to aim for the runner up position. If Girona is careless again and loses points again then Barcelona can occupying the runner up position, the competition between the two is very tight at the moment and Real Madrid seems a little calm at the top because Girona and Barcelona are getting further behind there is no doubt for Real Madrid to win the league title this season.

We know the Real Madrid team. This team is very experienced. And now the team is 6 points ahead of Girona. Real Madrid has more BC schedule in the future. A 2/1 draw is unlikely for this team to lose more than 6 points. Moreover, it is also not guaranteed that Girona will be able to win all of their next 12 matches. I thought Real Madrid would win easier than this despite not having Bellingham because of an injury. However the winning goal came quite late in the game and it was thanks to Modric's really nice finesse shot.

So there is 70% chances has been now that Real Madrid will be the champions of La Liga this season if real Madrid have hold up the points gap between Barcelona and Girona.
