I thought Athletico Madrid would be difficult for Barcelona to win against in the league, but Barcelona surprised me with an easy win against Athletico Madrid at home. Girona's performance has indeed declined. it wasn't as consistent and strong as it was at the start of the season. This match was the fifth defeat in the 29 matches that have been played.
Even though the point difference between Bilbao and Atletico Madrid is quite large, if Girona continues to perform like that, they may be moved from the top 4 of the standings.
if they want to keep it, they have to work hard now. finishing in the top 4 will be history for them with a ticket to the European Champions League.

There were several reasons when I previously said that Girona would eventually be pushed back down by more popular clubs and the most reasonable reason was simply the experience of being in 1st position in the points table or being in the top 3.
Popular clubs have more experience than Girona, so when Barca experiences a bad season in the middle of the season but in the end can catch Girona's position or even Atletico Madrid or Bilbao could overtake Girona because popular clubs have many strategies to be able to achieve the best ranking to end this season.
Girona at the start of the season did seem consistent but it has been proven that Girona does not have a good strategy to maintain its position and is now losing consistency again after being very ambitious at the start of the season but not seeing how a popular club would threaten its position.

Courtois has become a legendary goalkeeper for Real Madrid and in fact I still feel that Courtois has not been replaced. The current Real Madrid goalkeeper is still good but he is still not as good as Courtois. I still remember when this goalkeeper got the golden glove at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. There's no way I would want to support justifying the fact that Barcelona did failed and try to see it that there was actually a good reason, although for some while, they have been faced with some challenges which brothers much around finance and has I'm a way limited how much they have been able to strengthen their team probably by signing new players who could actually make up for the lapsis.

Barcelona was actually able to get a few players especially felix by loan and so far he's been really helpful to the team and I would say it will be of a very good idea if they get to retain him because he's been really helpful to the team and can actually help the team get productive if only he's given enough play time. It seems to me on the contrary, Atlético’s chances of reaching the top 4 are falling due to the fact that they have a good position in the Champions League.
