In terms of head-to-head we can draw the conclusion that Atletico Madrid is superior to Girona even though there is always a surprise but in my opinion a surprise will no longer apply to Girona because it is too fortunate to get a big 3 position in the point table.

First time I am reading about this classification of clubs and it sound somehow funny. At the level of first division teams, I do not think it is right to call a team mediocre because any club that makes it there is an top team that fought hard to achieve that. Take English Premiership as example, for a team to play in the Premiership, they have to go from lower division all the way through the National Conference League, League 2, League 1, Championship before qualifying for the Premiership.  So it is totally wrong to refer to any team in the first division as mediocre.

Girona is just a season wonder team and I doubt if they will be able to maintain this top form next season. Yeah no matter what Simeone's system has worked for Atletico Madrid for many years. I also don't like to watch it though.
