Russian citizens truly mean nothing, they never ment something for the government.
Believe me, when it's about Russians, what is on the plan - it's already done.
Crimea was done in one day, 8th of march, Saturday. Military forces, fleet and all. Voting later was like official contract signing procedure. Besides, Crimea had at least one big motivation for Russian Federation - Russian Black Sea Fleet.
What is done today about Donetsk? Nothing. This means there is nothing "to do" on the list there. Motivations? I do not see a single one.
Watch if you can, close your eyes if you can't - there is going to be big ogrish bloodbath, separating Russians and Ukrainians forever.
