This has been previously stated by sp-tech and asking the same question(s) every day doesn´t relly get you anywhere.
Spondoolies is shipping units every day, backlog will be cleared as per their promises.

Actually I don't want to EMAIL SPtech again they are just too busy and there seems to be a LOT of time spent fighting the trolls off here so I figure a quick answer everyday is going happen given that dates are not given for shipping with any specificity. Hard to FIND that information given the rats nest of crap being posted about ROI etc AM vs SP31 etc etc just another pile of crap to wade through every few pages to find the info I want. Asked numerous times that SPTech to narrow down the time window on shipping so questions would be avoided. They should be able to at least put a 2 or 3 day window on when our miners should ship 2 weeks ahead or even more given they are very tight on the scheduling all the time. And what I mean by tight is that they usually hit their dates perfectly. ----- EDIT: Compensation email just in... thanks for that Barbara quite reasonable as expected. Looking forward to shipping news on the heels of that.

That is why I repeated the post from spondoolies, which stated that August batch units will be shipped in August, more precisely before the 29th.
Your groupbuy order should therefore ship today or tomorrow (or was already shipped yesterday, though chances are that you would know about that).

can someone stick up projections for '5.5Th' on the 1st of November
944 from 3920 still leaves a fat balance to be paid in the next 7 days for delivery in the 'second half' of October (4th quarter/11th hour)

the few estimates ive seen have been pretty grim between 180 - 300+ days to break even depending on electric cost.

OK, so I've finally received my compensation offer, cutting it a bit close for me to make a decision as they have started shipping. The offer is an 18% refund, which is the difference between the 5.5TH they were originally offered as and the 4.5TH. However I decided to jump on the group buy AFTER you posted the following because the increase in hashrate made it a much better deal and you were supremely confident of meeting your targets. The SP30 will be able to produce over 6 THs. Probably over 6.5 THs with 2700 Watt (2 X 1200 rated PSUs, each PSU is able to input 1350 Watt)
I think therefore the refund should be based on the rate you were advertising at the time of purchase, which in my case is around 30%. When the drop in hashrate was announced in this thread, I said a couple of posts later that although the offer of compensation was good, I urged you to consider the fact that the power consumption figures were also way out and that this should also be reflected in the offer we received. It's sad to see you have decided to ignore this part of the failure.

We're screwed BIG time buddy, I bought 29 x SP30s and I don't think I will be able to get an ROI unless a miracle happen and the difficulty stops going up so fast (which is not possible) or if the BTC to USD rate goes up (Which no one can tell). IF I get my money back that's it no more mining, it's over.

A few month ago, sha256 chips were using obsolete chip technology (>40nm), this is no more the case today, this change a lot the perspective.

After reading all your posts and seeing how bad are you at mining I wanted to offer you mining consultancy services. For that I would've needed a free hand regarding acquisitions and reinvestment and seeing how impatient you are I am sure that I wouldn't have been able to handle the constant pressure and whining from you. *My 1 year track record is that I have cashed out around 60% of my initial investment, I have reinvested into new equipment ~150% of my initial investment and I own bitcoins worth of 90% of my initial investment. With big exchange rate swings ofc.

SP Tech missed there hash and power targets, he has every right to be upset. Do you have any conscience at all?

The issue here is that the guy has all the rights to be upset, but not on SP-T. The investment and pre-order decision (with everything that comes out of it) was not SP-Ts. However advertising 6TH/s at some point, they have their own issues to cover. When you buy a car, they advertise the MPG, that it won't rust for 20 years and of course, the price. How many guys did you see complaining that they bought a Mustang and they can't drive with a speed of 10 miles per hour and obtain the advertised MPG rate? How many of those guys did you see whining to FORD about compensation in price, because their product does not meet the specifications? How many guys are complaining that their car does not reach the 180MPH printed on the dashboard? They bought the Mustang, and they're free to return it or resell it. Why would be the mining business different? Or any business for that matter? Everything changes when you reach understanding ..

ONLY BITMAIN has genuinely impressed me, and that is due to the 10% effort they put in far exceeding the 0.5% every other company has put in, instead relying on the aforementioned 'cheer-leaders' but even Bitmain has lost my respect after opening up thier rigs and seeing the embarrassing thermal compound efforts & the all new 'pre-order' BS back to the compensation - crumbs in 'october' or crumbs 'off' an 'october' rig of unknown abilities.... THAT is the question!

huh ? So by way of example if your initial investment was $1000, you cashed out $600, you reinvested $1500 (600 + 900 more) and you own bitcoins (which I presume you mined with these investments) worth $900. So at this point, you have $1900 invested and coins worth $900. So you are still $1000 in the hole on this 'investment'. I guess your plan is to rinse and repeat this remarkable strategy. If this is incorrectly, please update it appropriately.

Glad to get tracking... My SP30s on the way to Norway just as the temps start cooling off.
Thanks SPTech for getting them out the door.
Hope to be mining in a few days.
Also shout out to RoadStress thanks for putting the GB together and getting us those discounted rates!
Very smoothly handled GB and the charity was definitely a PLUS to the whole experience.

It's my pure and personal opinion and it's clear that you don't see the whole picture. Let me help you. but please pay attention: Hi Spondoolies, As you know I have purchased 20 x SP30 devices with hosting expecting 6TH each for a total of 120TH while incurring on going hosting expenses for 20 devices ($24,000 every 3 months)... 20 miners, 120TH/s, $48,000 per 6 months. We have chosen to host 29 x SP30s with Toom.im (September Batch 1). Please reserve the spots for us... 29 miners, 130.5Th/s, $45,000 per 6 months (current price at this time at Toom.im) We're screwed BIG time buddy, I bought 29 x SP30s and I don't think I will be able to get an ROI unless a miracle happen and the difficulty stops going up so fast... So he got 10Th/s extra than what he ordered and cheaper hosting than he planned and he is still screwed. For a guy who invested more than $100k wissam lacks a pair of balls and is a big cry baby from my point of view.

I had hardware in Europe. But now, I've changed my strategy; In my country, the electricity cost increases quickly every year, the gap between here and the USA is so large... Fifteen years ago the story was different.
