So just at the end of this week, TI's last regional qualifiers will already start to kick in South America and eastern Europe. This is going to be very tough and exciting as every team will give their last hurrahs in order to enter TI Singapore. Infamous will be favorites to win in South America but it'll be hell in eastern Europe as Outsiders, Betboom, and Navi are great teams too. I'm also hoping that T1 together with Ana and Topson are the ones to qualify in SEA.

With regards to TI. My top 3 picks are Team Spirit, OG, and LGD.

T1 has a better chance to get the spot on SEA because they have the best roster on the current team that will compete on SEA qualifiers because they have the TI veterans on there Roster while the rest of the SEA team roster is composed of just a typical SEA Dota2 pro players.

You got the best top 3 on your choice and actually that 3 team is the safest team to bet on upcoming TI because they are known for having the best team on games like this and experienced the TI finals. I think the last 3 TI is circulating around those 3 teams that goes in the finals.

I think you're underestimating the grit and the hunger of SEA teams on the upcoming regional qualifiers. Sure, T1 is a powerhouse right now because of Topson and Ana joining an already capable team of supports and offlaners. But you also have other teams out there that could potentially best them if needed (Talon, BOOM, SMG, Polaris, etc.) T1 can edge out on other teams that aren't as experienced as them, but it will be interesting to see if Topson and Ana can live up to the expectations of their SEA fans when they're faced with teams that are hungrier to compete than them.

I've updated the Calendar in the OP

i thought September was going to be a slow month, but it's far from it, we're gonna have ESL Pro League season 16 🔥, The International 11 Qualifiers 🔥, VALORANT Champions 2022 🔥🔥 which is the biggest valorant tournament of the year with a prize pool of more than $1,000,000 USD, and towards the end of the month we'll have League of Legends Worlds 2022🔥🔥🔥

I wasn't able to watch the Blast series but this crazy clutch from broky was amazing to watch.
Crazy stuff,, probably the best clutch in BLAST Falls groups. Love the reactions from the casters on cam https://twitter.com/BLASTPremier/status/1563902825209511937

I wasn't able to watch the Blast series but this crazy clutch from broky was amazing to watch. Then on the side of Astralis even though they lost against Faze, they finally qualified for the EU RMR in the 4th open qualifier.

Aside from OG, the sweeps yesterday are so unexpected as well coming from Gen.G and TES as I thought both series would go 3-1 given the history of these teams.

It was indeed an amazing clutch by broky. FaZe have recovered quickly after that shocking OG loss. A team like FaZe don't have the luxury of losing to the teams below tier 1 in this kind of big tournaments.

Astralis are actually still a very good team. Maybe they aren't having their best time which was a few years ago but the current roster started to get closer to that level day by day. We are seeing them as the 4th biggest team in the world ranking now. They were the underdog against FaZe maybe but they still didn't let it become an easy series for FaZe by winning a map.

Team Secret have hard time in beating Team Aster. In the chat, many have been making fun of them that they're a choking team.

Well, I still have faith in them and they were just sent in the lower bracket. So, whoever wins with the next game with Fnatic and OG proceed to the next round versus Team Secret.

In a few moments now, OG and Fnatic game starts.

Choke or no choke , Team Aster played much more better than Secret today and Monet might be the best carry in the world right now or at least tight with Ame so no wonder why most of the fans are considering Ame vs Monet the best carry rivals in the last years.

It's still not over for Secret as they still have a chance from lower bracket when they most likely face OG as FNATIC are simply an amazing team to watch.
Monet is a good carry but saying that he might be the best in the world, I don't think that he is. Although the team is really good and even they're not able to win this ESL, they still ended up greatly.

Now the exciting part is about to come, the qualifiers.

Team Secret doesn't look good stable having Crystallis as their carry and there could be some last minute changes. But if this is the roster they'll have for the qualifiers, good luck to them.

While for Team Aster, they just have to improve so that they won't have the curse every grand finals.

It is easier for them because the top team in the SEA already has direct invites for TI. Boom and FNATIC have enough DPC points to get a direct invite for TI so they will not be in the mix for SEA qualifiers. T1 is seating at the top of the list to qualify for TI but you are right, they should not underestimate other teams in SEA. They can still give a good fight. Though I do not think that T1 will take it easy. I am sure they will give all they have to win the qualifier. The qualifier is also a good test of whether they can work as a team with the 2-time TI champions.

Its TI qualifiers though so its pretty much do or die for all teams as they got the chance of getting to the biggest tournament and not to mention the insane amount of prize money even if you ended up last on the tournaments, its just too good to missed that one. Honestly, if everything goes well T1 is literally atleast top 2 at the SEA qualifiers.

Its just silly if Ana and Topson ended up not getting that ticket to TI though

Unfortunate for Team SMG and their new signing Iceiceice for being taken out of the qualifiers for their failure to register their team before due date. They had a pretty solid team behind them which would have definitely asked questions to the team that qualifies, if not for themselves.

Solid team huh, well both Midone and iceiceice are way past their prime. It might seems solid but Im not digging them. Either way, Im not really into SEA region and the only team that totally has my attention would be T1 mainly because the team have both Ana and Topson in their roster. Aside from that, I regularly watch Topson's stream so I know for a fact that he would totally owned midlane on most of their game

Still that good for Midone when it comes to his plays but Iceiceice is indeed past into his prime when you do tend to look at or replay about this game performance which is something not that really that contributive

specially on clashes and even tending to play his role well.On SEA team then T1 is indeed a strong one considering that Ana and Topson is there and i dont have any questions
about Mid position skills of topson and then that carry role Ana and the rest will be depending on other member on how they would make out adjustment.

Midone is one of those players that is still strong in the game but obviously lacks the knowledge and the drive to compete against newer players. Dude is still strong and technical in the mid lane, no doubt about it, but I personally wouldn't bet on him if he's against newer and younger players that have been competing in the higher tier. SMG is a solid team and can still compete against the best teams in SEA, but Midone isn't what I'll be expecting to carry this team in the qualifiers.

WOW That hurts. First, he was dropped by Secret for Reso and now his team failed to register for TI qualifiers. Less competition for T1 then. They are nearer to get that TI slot for SEA region.

Individual talent wise, Topson and Ana are still top tier in Dota. It will all depend on how well they will draft against their opponent. Sometimes, even if you are the best, if you get outdrafted, you will still lose.

OG is a master in breaking down the mentality of their opponents but the other teams have learned how to do it as well.

I think European teams already know how to break down Chinese team as displayed by Team Spirit in Arlington and OG in the recent ESL ONE Malaysia. Especially in a Best of 5, Chinese teams seems to crumble to EU teams.

Exactly, PSG.LGD is always weak on best of 5 matches even before. They always losing there shit after dominating the upper bracket and rematch in the finals of the tournament. I think LGD can’t even beat Team Spirit in Riyadh Master if it’s a best of 5 games because they don’t have capability to close a pong series since they are just using same strategy the whole tournament which makes them vulnerable whenever the enemy team already figured to counter them by just watching on the match that they got lose on that particular tournament. This issue is same goes to Aster which has same weakness.
It's not only PSG.LGD but almost every Chinese team. We can say that they're the strongest in the region and yet they're being beaten by these EU teams.

I feel bad for iceiceice, he shouldn't be there and much better if a team tries to adopt him for the TI qualifiers, he should accept it and let alone those other remaining players accept the sanction due to the behavior that they've made against ninjaboogie. It's still possible for iceiceice to appeal and get out of the team and void their contract because of the fault that they've made and he's out of that issue since he just got in after he's kicked from Team Secret.

The sad fate of Chinese teams. Their play in DOTA is too honest that they go full force from the get go. They do not hide any strategy and use them starting from the group stage. That is why they always dominate the early stages because the teams have not adjusted yet to their gameplay. But in the later stages, there are already a lot of games the opponents can use as reference to adjust their game play. That is why Chinese teams seem to be weak on Game of 5 series because the opponents already know their strat. And most of the time, Chinese teams are stubborn to change even when they know they are already exposed.

Most Chinese teams do this. If there's any team that really stood out for me that came in China, that will be TI6 Wings Gaming. That team cannot be deciphered at their prime. All their strategies are out of the meta back then but it worked, and due to those strategies not having that much of a synergy, their opponents had a hard time figuring out what Wings really wanted to do on the game. For PSG.LGD and other current Chinese teams, they believe that their meta is always superior and that it cannot be beaten. TI8 PSG.LGD showed us just that. If they can get over the mindset that they're always the best, then perhaps they can easily win the finals of The International finally.

LGD had able to get that uncrowned kings but cant really be denied that they are really that a top tier team but they do usually choke out on grand finals and even into other Chinese teams out there.

The one thing i do notice is that whenever LGD against other team with BO5 and once they do lost then they do lost up that composure and chill or simply saying that they are too fragile when it comes
to emotion or simply be fatigued specially on their carry Ame. You could really notice it out on their gameplays.

Individual talent wise, Topson and Ana are still top tier in Dota. It will all depend on how well they will draft against their opponent. Sometimes, even if you are the best, if you get outdrafted, you will still lose.
No doubt that they are still top tier but with the chemistry, I don't think that it's enough for them to build together with the T1 players. But, as professionals, they've been there and done that.

I can remember the first TI that they've been and they didn't get a direct invite instead, they go through the qualifiers and made it and took their first TI title.

I wish that the scrims that they do are worth it and will be able to be shown on this qualifier. The crowd of fans in the SEA are with them and counting on them that they'll get the slot for 1st place.

Their first match is with Execration on September 13. XCTN is going to prepare very well on this.

The group stage of ESL Pro league season 16 started today and will go for the next 3.5 weeks, with the playoffs being in the last week of September. A lot of interesting matches are already happening this week. During the first weeks of big tournaments I am looking for more save bets to build up my bankroll again for some larger bets ahead of the finals. Today NaVi is playing against Team Spirit and tomorrow Fnatic, both of the matches should be an easy win for NaVi. Also today is playing NiP vs Fnatic, I really like NiP this year and think they will pull through easily. And then tomorrow NiP is playing against Vitality, which is going to be a very close match that could go either way. I am going to stick with NiP for the two matches. Overall FaZe Clan is a big favourite to win the tournament together with NaVi, and their upcoming games look like an easy win against some teams.

Esl pro league matches are starting today. The first match will be between navi-spirit. I think navi will win.
Vitality-Endpoint match will most probably be won by vitality. I don't expect a surprise result in these matches.
The important match of the day will be NiP-Fnatic without a doubt. I wonder how Brollan will perform against his former team.

Here we go, NaVi - Spirit has started as the opening match of the ESL Pro League.

Spirit are a really interesting opponent for NaVi. A few months ago we saw Spirit climbing to even the 5th position in the ranking. But they haven't been a successful team recently and this performance kicked them out of top 10. Maybe they aren't a tier 1 team anymore but NaVi should still be careful here. However s1mple's existence is a big morale for the team after missing some matches lately. They have zero match history against each other as it seems. However Spirit don't seem to have the strength to make big difficulties for them. I would like to remind you that Spirit played their last official match 7 weeks ago also.

I expect NaVi to win on Nuke - Dust2 both and complete the match as the winner by 2-0.
