One of the maps that Navi defends best, they do the main and outdoor defense very well. The match started and the first half had the upper hand. The odds for this match were 1.17. Actually, I could have thought of a 2-0 bet. The second map is dust 2 Navi's own choice. I don't think it will ever go to the decider map. NIP surprised me a lot in their last Heroic match, they were in good shape. Fnatic is not the old fnatic anyway, 27th team NIP should not have too much difficulty in this match.

NaVi don't lose on Nuke easily indeed. I saw them only losing to FaZe there and it cost them the IEM Cologne championship.  Sad

Spirit were just desperate against the best team in the world. NaVi's weakest maps are Inferno and Ancient now. But interestingly Spirit decided to remove Inferno already at the beginning. I know that they also don't have any stats recorded there but at least their chance might have increased maybe. After NaVi banned Ancient I was just very confident about a 2-0 result.

The closest game to start is Vitality - Endpoint but I also don't think Vitality is worth betting @1.09. It should be a very comfortable game for them and it's time to boost the morale of the team after the unexpected G2 loss.

ok, after S1mple fell asleep in the opener earlier and my bet lost, i've hit 2/2 singles  (:

NIP - Fnatic in the waiting room,, time to watch some VALORANT Champions Istanbul 2022

NIP surprised me a lot in their last Heroic match, they were in good shape. Fnatic is not the old fnatic anyway, 27th team NIP should not have too much difficulty in this match.
yeah i was pretty confident earlier today thinking Fnatic could put up a good fight, but when you think about it, in any normal circumstances it should be a 2-0 for NIP, that's why i changed my mind and placed a bet on Vita - EP

It's not only PSG.LGD but almost every Chinese team. We can say that they're the strongest in the region and yet they're being beaten by these EU teams.

The sad fate of Chinese teams. Their play in DOTA is too honest that they go full force from the get go. They do not hide any strategy and use them starting from the group stage. That is why they always dominate the early stages because the teams have not adjusted yet to their gameplay. But in the later stages, there are already a lot of games the opponents can use as reference to adjust their game play. That is why Chinese teams seem to be weak on Game of 5 series because the opponents already know their strat. And most of the time, Chinese teams are stubborn to change even when they know they are already exposed.
Yeah, that's a good analysis. They should hide some of their strategies and use them only when they get to the finals or close to it to secure their place. They're disciplined, no doubt but sometimes they need to be hideous with their strategies. It is because most of the teams eyes are on them because they're one of the respected regions and most of them really are strong.
Well, the qualifiers are near to date and it's scheduled per region and that's a good thing so we can watch more games not at the same time.

That is why Chinese teams seem to be weak on Game of 5 series because the opponents already know their strat. And most of the time, Chinese teams are stubborn to change even when they know they are already exposed.

Most Chinese teams do this. If there's any team that really stood out for me that came in China, that will be TI6 Wings Gaming. That team cannot be deciphered at their prime. All their strategies are out of the meta back then but it worked, and due to those strategies not having that much of a synergy, their opponents had a hard time figuring out what Wings really wanted to do on the game. For PSG.LGD and other current Chinese teams, they believe that their meta is always superior and that it cannot be beaten. TI8 PSG.LGD showed us just that. If they can get over the mindset that they're always the best, then perhaps they can easily win the finals of The International finally.
LGD had able to get that uncrowned kings but cant really be denied that they are really that a top tier team but they do usually choke out on grand finals and even into other Chinese teams out there.

The one thing i do notice is that whenever LGD against other team with BO5 and once they do lost then they do lost up that composure and chill or simply saying that they are too fragile when it comes
to emotion or simply be fatigued specially on their carry Ame. You could really notice it out on their gameplays.

Ame is actually the one who has it all together during high-pressure games. It's their team coach that is stressing too much when LGD's foothold on the game is losing. Xiao8 is an extremely good strategist and coach on paper but on times like BO5s wherein LGD lost the first game, or lost the second game after a very convincing first game performance, he's struggling to get his shit together and lets his team play a game that is not really that good. Their drafts become hazy and their strengths wither away after losing those early games. Fy is also that old player that you think has all that it takes to win but chokes when faced with a loss.

I expect NaVi to win on Nuke - Dust2 both and complete the series as the winner by 2-0.
Spirit picked Nuke which is NaVi's third best map, i guess this is where they felt the most comfortable during boot camp? but still, i don't see them winning this map, NaVi -1.5 @1.5 wasn't good value, so i went with a fan favorite: s1mple and total kills +21 *edit  s1mple avg kills last month was like 24 or 25, now he cant even break 19 kills back-to-back Sad

i'll skip Vit - Endpoint and place some bets on NIP - Fnatic, i think fnatic can put up a fierce fight, they've been fantastic in the IEM Road To Rio qualifiers, specially nicoodoz, let's see if he can keep up that same energy today

I'm really surprised to see s1mple like this for some matches. Since he was gone and came back, he hasn't been like the s1mple we've known so far. We've been used to watching him carrying the team nearly in all of the matches. This time Perfecto and b1t did this job on each map.

However this play of s1mple on Nuke was really delightful. Grin He got 4 AWP kills on bomb site B: https://clips.twitch.tv/CorrectTsundereBisonBCouch--KNOmoWK9QyL_pl7?tt_content=url&tt_medium=clips_api

It was an easy peasy match for Vitality also by 2-0. Endpoint weren't even close to their quality. Now we have a NIP - fnatic match which started moments ago. The map choices are Ancient, Overpass and Nuke. fnatic are playing great on Ancient and I believe they will win this map. NIP are most likely to win the next one. However as for the decider, fnatic might have a chance to beat their opponent because they have a 100% win rate on Nuke in 8 matches there. The only question mark is whether they will manage to beat a tier 1 team after a long time. The new roster is getting better but I still doubt this match a lot.

League is back later today and i'll be taking the over 4.5 on the LPL finals (JDG vs TES) since the odds haven't moved and I think it's worth going for after what happened during the semi-finals.

LCK Regionals (DWG vs LSB) is also starting at the same time, not touching that series even though it's another tight matchup I think it's more likely going to end with a 3-1 scoreline if DWG decides to continue playing with Burdol instead of Nuguri just like their series against T1.

Two more days before TI11 regional qualifiers will officially start in eastern Europe and South America. I am not very familiar with the Chinese players but it seems that the region together with western Europe have the most crowded teams that are capable of winning.

West Europe: Team Secret, Nigma, Entity, and Liquid
China: RNG, Extreme Gaming, Invictus, and Vici
Eastern Europe: Outsiders, BetBoom and Navi
Southeast Asia: T1 and Talon
North America: Soniqs and nouns
South America: Infamous

Those two regions will be fun to watch come TI qualifiers. Team secret and Nigma will be favorites for sure to qualify to TI but I think Entity and Liquid will give a good fight too. I think Liquid has become less and less competitive their past year.

I am surprised that there is no more top teams in SA. Is infamous the only strong team in that region? I am not very familiar with South American teams.

One of the greatest teams with new members is the OG and again they show themselves with the latest matchup between the game of the ESL One Malaysia the finals against team Aster. In the game one it is already in favor with the team Aster because of the Enigma but still the OG manage to win and because the mistake of the positioning of the Aster. with the game two its already have the higher chance of the OG to win because they have a good ember mid, late game terror blade and nyx for counter and this gg push they make a small mistake because monet phantom assassins got rampage.

NIP are most likely to win the next one.
what a dogshit performance form NIP. 14-1 lead for Fnatic in map 2  Grin i genuinely don't think this was a fluke win for Fnatic, NIP are looking a bit unstable after that EG match

League is back later today and i'll be taking the over 4.5 on the LPL finals (JDG vs TES) since the odds haven't moved and I think it's worth going for after what happened during the semi-finals.

https://i.imgur.com/9aM4wZD.png

LCK Regionals (DWG vs LSB) is also starting at the same time, not touching that series even though it's another tight matchup I think it's more likely going to end with a 3-1 scoreline if DWG decides to continue playing with Burdol instead of Nuguri just like their series against T1.
good luck

after a profitable day yesterday, i'm totally ready for some dissapointment today 🥲

low stakes on both cos they're extremely biased picks, they're my two favorites teams from each region. serious picks will go to the ESL Pro League

Can't wait for it, my results in last 2 DOTA tournaments were unbelievably good so I am looking forward to make some big bets. Been bleeding money on tennis and football evere since ESL one finished.

Made a bet on Sandbox and over maps on other LOL final today but I am almost expecting to lose them. LOL was never my strong suite.

Fnatic didn't let NiP play. I saw Hampus playing this badly after a long time. Fnatic really studied their opponent well. I think they will slowly get better. Navi, on the other hand, managed to defeat spirit as expected without much difficulty. Obviously it was an expected win.
Today I think spirit, navi and vitality will win.

In the Fnatic view they worked very well on the Ancient map. Along with the bad result they got on the Ancient map, in the second map, NIP also got a very bad result on the Overpass map they chose, no one expected this, this was a surprise result for all e-sports bettors. Today will be Navi vs Fnatic match. I wonder if they will be able to play against Navi so easily or if their match against NIP was completely an exception. I don't think they will win, but I wonder how they will compete.

TI regional qualifiers begin next week right ? Any surprises that you can see by it ? Maybe Liquid not qualifying ? Soniqs will face The Cut most likely in the finals but Soniqs are a better team when they play serious dota as we saw that whey they took 2-0 on PSG in last major even if they lost all the other games besides that one haha.

Also , didn't we suppose to have CS:GO Rio Major soon ? What happened ?

I was just shocked to see that result. NIP lost both maps by 16-4. Let's say I understand Ancient because of NIP's being really bad there. But Overpass was a very positive map for them. How can they lose that too by the same score? hampus was just terrible in this match. 4 and 5 frags on these maps were no help for the team. But I don't think that he was the main problem of course. They are still out-of-form as a team and this form can cause them to be out of top 10 in no time also.

NaVi - fnatic and NIP - Vitality are the remaining good matches of the day. Navi @1.22 and Vitality @1.43 are pretty nice options. Maybe fnatic's defeating a tier 1 team can increase their self-confidence but I think there is no way they are doing the same against NaVi. Maybe they can win one map by picking a map NaVi are relatively weak. Vitality should be able to get past a this much weak NIP comfortably also.

I not expecting Liquid to qualify but I expect them to finish at least in the top three of Western Europe. I am expecting team Secret to come out of the top of the WEU qualifier. +

While on ESL Pro League, Team Spirit took out Endpoint in double overtime. That was a nail-biting game. Team Spirit took everything just to beat Endpoint.

Liquid not qualifying is actually a joke going around reddit right now. We will most probably see Insania accepting a panelist spot yet again since the West EU qualifiers will be stacked. You got a lot of TI hopefuls this year and a lot of those are tier 1/2 teams that haven't made it through the DPC system.

I'm interested on how far the Outsiders will go through the qualifiers in the CIS region. They will most probably crush it and be the winners but we still don't know for sure.

NaVi vs fnatic has started already and we are on first map, Ancient. Actually this is a really bad map for NaVi while it is the opposite for fnatic. However NaVi are still very comfortable at the moment like 10-2.  Grin  fnatic are still in development of course but their winning against NIP made me really excited about them. nicoodoz and roeJ had really impressive efforts. I thought that maybe they could make difficulties for the team at the top on a map but it looks like they won't be able to bother them at all.

The second map is Mirage by the way and it is one of the most comfortable maps for NaVi. So it should end by 2-0 without big problems. fnatic still have a long way to go to reach the level of top tier teams and beat them.
