Sorry if this has been asked before. How does PoS work? Please point me to detailed information on GRS PoS. Thanks!
EDIT: Some specific questions: - do I need to do something in my wallet to activate minting? - does the wallet need to be unlocked? - What about coins temporarily in the exchange and in the pools?
You should look in here and educate yourself https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake

I'm using this same build myself. This is probably a false positive. But you can always build a wallet from sources or ask someone to do it for you.

Or perhaps the binary should be properly signed, as other binares are. And available from the official web site. And not from some file sharing service. BTW, the wallet does not scyhronize with the network for hours. For some reason, the blockchain got corrupted (or the index got corrupted), now, everything is fine, but damn thing does not sync in a reasonable time.

Hey guys, what do you think it's going on here? http://i58.tinypic.com/dqlwep.pngThe wallet is up to date... did I receive a payment from somebody on a different fork? Ah, and the blockchain stopped syncing. BTW, the last payment was a withdrawal from the Floppy game...

That happens when a peer you're connected to is using an old wallet, use getpeerinfo on the debug console to check the ip of the offending node. The floppy game is using the latest wallet, so i doubt it is the culprit.

Hi guys!
The optimizations week doesn't end here! :-)
On 280x that pushes 11.43 MH/s to 12.04 MHs, so 0.61 MH plus, thats 5,06%

Avast Antivirus gives me problems opening the windows wallet It removed the wallet completely thinking Its a Trojan Could someone with the knowledge have a look at this Its no really reassuring Probably Its a false positive, but still better not to have this

What will people think about the more important things (like the coin itself) if they can't even get a proper wallet? BTW, DropBox is another possibility . . . but I agree that it really should come from the official website and be properly signed. No job, no matter how big or how small, if it's not worth doing right, it's not worth doing at all.

Just search in google, here are a few links: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558919.0https://forum.megacoin.co.nz/index.php?topic=3614.0The wallet is built by the same person whol built all previous wallets. I use it myself. If someone is interested, he can compile the wallet from sources and post here.

Been using lots off wallets the past year, even some pretty shitty coins wallets Never had a wallet removed by the AV So for me as a newly groestlcoin user, this Is not how I expected It to turn out Its all about the first impression
