Estimated price of Clean Water Coin at the moment: 1Mh/s can mine ~600 coins in a day. 1Mh/s can earn about 0.005 BTC per day. So the price is 0.005/600=833 satoshi. However the difficulty is not "normal" now. Time per block for the whole network is 82 seconds. The normal time should be 120 seconds. The difference is ~46%. So the normal price should be 833satoshi X 1.46=1220 satoshi. Everything under 1220 satoshi worth to buy. Correct me if I am wrong You are wrong . Current difficulty has nothing to do with the price or the value of a coin, but has to do with the costs. Also the diff retarget is very retarded, so there was a lot of instamining last night. What you are referring to is the costs but I would buy only ~400 even if the cost of producing today is higher, now if the diff stays this high for more than a couple of days then I might think different but is too soon to know. Cheers! LOL 400?! 2 minutes per block and one block has only 1000 coins. Lets look forward when it hits a big exchange. I guess 400 seems like an awesome deal now .

What good are they if they are not able to be sent? lol I cannot send them to sell if I wanted too. 'Transaction cannot be completed'.
So doesn't really matter what the value of them are is because they cannot be traded.

'Transaction creation failed' rather. Same thing.

Currently 416,753,738 coins have been minted. So you're looking at half of the supply of a billion coins being generated in less than a few weeks by the time the fork happens at block 8000. Should be interesting to see what happens to such an inflated market.

'Transaction creation failed' rather. Same thing. First let me say I don't have the absolute answer, but I can offer a few things to try. Might work...might not. Close the Cleanwatercoin-qt client, click Start and type %Appdata% and then click the Roaming folder. Open the cleanwatercoin folder and copy the wallet.dat file to a secure location.(If you only see a file called "wallet", that is the correct one) You can also use the backup wallet feature inside the client but on rare occasions this can fail, so I prefer the manual backup. Next, right click the icon to re-open the QT client and run as Administrator..........this shouldn't make a bit of difference unless your anti-virus is doing something weird........but it doesn't hurt to do it. Now use the wallet backup feature. If it succeeds then your wallet is probably not corrupt. Now to the sending part: Try to send a small amount, like 500 coins and see if that goes through. The wallet Daemon has problems with transactions over 15k coins.

how many coins is reward after fork?
It was supposed to be ~ 888 coins so I assume that is where whoever is deving this plans to return it. That being said the fork is 1-2 hours away and there has been no word from the dev. I don't see anyone in #CleanWaterCoin on freenode so I'm not sure if this is being abandoned. You guys have transparency on one person involved here. A Mr. Zach Mittra https://twitter.com/ZachMettraUnfortunately it may be time to ask hard questions.

Finally someone with clear, logical thinking.

Finally someone with clear, logical thinking. Basically, we fast forwarded in time, except with the added benefit for early investors of getting the coins REALLY cheap NOW. Think about it. 500 million coins is not that many coins in the scheme of things. They can get eaten up pretty quickly on any good-sized exchange. You bring volume with good PR, keeping up with the Jone's tech wise (innovation/Android app), and constant forward/positive movement. The visibility comes with community and trade/use growth. Lot's of time to see price rise on this coin. IMHO, a really good opportunity to buy a new coin low before people catch on to it, which is the alt-coin dream Also, the higher volume of coins in wallet will increase value for holders. This coin could act like Mintcoin and be a holding/interest bearing coin for people sitting out on trading for awhile. The "nowhere to go but up" mentality is great for those guys. I bought now, and will sit on them for awhile unless I get an offer I can't refuse. Prices usually take months to get a glimpse of their potential. I already know the charity aspect of this coin is great for sales. Let's see if the Dev team can pull this one up by the bootstraps and get the positive Chi flowing. Where a good Dev leads, community will follow.

The Devs are in IRC dealing with all this. Go to IRC if you want to ask them questions directly. It is much more efficient than posting and waiting for them to have time to scroll through and reply between fixing things.

This currency is dead, developers are not able to solve the problem, they team is a group of waste!
Developers are not dead -- they are stressed, but not dead All pools have been notified to update the source, and 80% of them have already updated to the new code. We are currently working with exchanges and pools to try to see what other realistic options are, while also testing different programing solutions as well. This was a programming error that got overlooked before launch -- and as embarrassing as that is, we are committed to seeing this through.
