What are you going to do about the IPO investors?

Will you return the BTC invested in the IPO?

Will you recalculate the amount of WATER coins you should give to the IPO investors?

Are you going to do something?

It is not about YOU, they are trying to save the coin

It is not about YOU, they are trying to save the coin

It is not about YOU, they are trying to save the coin

They are trying very hard to save the coin

FFS dude, do you want them to send you a shitload of coins and them be worthless? If they can't save it, no amount of coins given to IPO investor will be worth a satoshi. Get a grip!

I'm kinda curious about this too as an IPO investor. It'd be nice to see something, but really, what can they do/what can we reasonably expect? Not all investments go up, and you never know... in a year those IPO coins may still end up being worth more than we paid for them. I'm glad I only 'invested' 0.35 BTC though, and I'm *really* glad I'm not the 13 BTC investor right now!

Shit happens, and life goes on... let's not get all high and mighty and feeling all entitled to profit from our investments, and always remember the golden rule - never risk more than you're willing to lose.

This one may be a write-off from the perspective of the IPO holders, but it was quite a windfall for the miners and the people willing to buy up cheap coins. C'est la vie!

So, besides an updated wallet, what solution do we have and what decisions have been made considering those 450.000.000 coins mined between 7000-8000 blocks? The most important thing for me is: will they be deleted/reversed or not?

It's about me it's my money(even if it's a very small amount), it's not about you if it's not your money!
For me it was a investment, a deal was made, the coin had some specifications when i invested now i see millions of coins that where not expected(not in the specs), i tried to forget about the 13BTC invested after the launch but this now it's to much.

And if my my english in not very good, c'est la vie! Boas

Well, I do hope, but still I believe the official announcment should have been made long time ago. The community is left with nothing but pure speculations and many of us are worried. We would like to have a CLEAN glance on the situation and CLEAN explanation on what exacly is going on and what is the devs decision about 450.000.000 premined coins.

Although I am the Chinese community manager, I invested some BTC in the PLC too.
I also put in my mining rigs into WATER.
I believe there will be an official announcement.

Just so you know, I have .5 btc invested because I was willing to try and stop the bleeding when dumpers started to dump. I know several other people were trying there hardest too. One person spent over 2 btc.

You might have bled, but so have others trying to save the coin.

I don't think many of you comprehend the true scope of this disaster. The code is so flawed pools and exchanges don't want to touch it even if it is fixed. They have had enough of total incompetence by the devs. Luckily community members and 1 remaining dev have worked their asses off to try and save this from total collapse and a pool or two are willing to give it one last chance....IF the wallet and daemon are completely fixed.

People bitching about "where is my IPO money" can either continue to bitch and all efforts to save the coin will evaporate and they lose ALL the IPO, or they can deal with the situation as it is now.

Short version: STFU and hope ongoing efforts work. If they don't, you lose everything.......point blank.

Well, so far I can see that there were more sacrifice from the community members then developers. No official statement after 36 hours from the issue begining is more then worrying. Personally I'm one step from quiting.

Okay, that is that one drop. I was supporting CWC from the begining and even done some work to help it spread. I am now out. Wish all of you the very best, however IMHO the coin is one more great idea turned into dust. Dead.

Good luck!

You invested in an IPO. Its a high risk, high reward gamble. This time the risk went against you. Its the way it goes mate. If you want any chance at having your money back then support the coin and stand by it. By jumping up and down stamping your feet like a child you will only hinder that.

Should the coin survive, the PLC situation will have to be addressed. I agree now it's not the time, especially with technical viability being questioned. I appreciate all the efforts being put in to keep CWC alive.
