A bit surprised to see these odds because apparently the bookie didn't placed Marseille as the favourite but indeed according to the latest meetings from them Marseille has been lose at Lille home ground 2 times streak so maybe that's why Lille is slightly the favourite in this match and according to Lille statistics they have passed 15 home matches this season with unbeatable status so Marseille probably wouldn't able to beat them easily and my prediction this match will ended with draw and if my prediction is true then Rennes have possibilities to taking over Lille position considering Rennes only faced Ajaccio and most likely Rennes will be able to collect 3 points from that match

There is currently a two-point difference between Marseille and Lens but I think Lens is not going to lose points easily in the three remaining games they are going to have in the French league because they know if they lose any points Marseille can be the second team of the league again however three games in a lot and during the three nine points can change between the teams.

I think Lens has a little advantage given the rankings of their opponents, but other than that both have two games away and one game home. The goal statistics are about the same as well, but even a single goal could be decisive in the end. This means they have to approach their games strategically even with the goal statistics in mind. From Len's unbelievable performance this season and judging by the number of remaining fixtures and also the quality of the opponents to play against, it safe to say that Lens more likely to play champions league football next season than they less likely to miss out on the competition.

It looks like Auxerre will have to accept the fact that they will be one of the teams relegated this season. As long as they do as well as they could, if they finish third or second it's exactly the same, I agree with that. I know that many people consider this as a wrong type of thinking but that is true and we should not be shocked about it at all. I know that Marseille will want to be second just in case, but that's not going to be that much of an importance in the end. What these teams need to do is fans should put pressure on the owners to sell the club and become more like PSG, as in richer.

These teams needs to find a way to get a lot more money and I mean a lot more money not just a 20-30 million euro, I mean something that is a lot more and that should be very important. I know that we couldn't really expect them to do just make 100+ million more to even have a chance to compete.

Even though they have an equally close gap in points, but if they can stay consistent then of course Lens and Lille will still be in that position. Because at this moment we also cannot consider what kind of team or opponent to face, because sometimes teams in the middle and lower zones can also provide difficult resistance at moments near the end of the season like this.

Angers is the first club that will definitely be relegated this season. They are at the bottom of the standings with only 14 points having a distance of 20 points which is very unlikely for them to catch up. Another club that is certain to be relegated is Troyes who have 22 points and are in 19th place.

Regarding three matches left from Marseille seems they will winning all and move up to 2nd standing depend on Lens performance will winning all matches left or not. Marseille left three matches against Lille, Brest and relegation team Ajaccio will guarantee winning all matches, but looks the same with Lens have weakness opponent on three matches left against Lorient, Ajaccio and Auxerre.

Its not any change with current standing based on my predicting and seems not matter for Marseille have finish on 2nd or 3rd position because still qualify to Champion League next season. AS Monaco must be satisfied with 4th standings but they have fewest points gap with Lille on 5th standings position.

Mourinho's name has been called with PSG's manager position recently. It wouldn't make me surprised if we see such deal either because Mourinho is one of the very experienced managers in Europe now. Besides Mourinho can leave Roma anyway especially if he fails in qualifying for the Champions League this season. His name has been called with Chelsea as well but it looks like they are close to having a deal with Pochettino.

But I wonder how much successful Mourinho would be with PSG in that case. He likes to play a defensive game as much as possible you know. PSG have a squad that should be used for an attacking-oriented game obviously. I assume that Mourinho would be ready to make some changes in his usual strategies in that case to not have problems on making the team reach their potential.

There are still 3 games left and everything is still very possible, both for Lens and Marseille. if we refer to Lens' next opponent, maybe the only team that can provide resistance is Lorient. at least the next opponent is not too tough from Lorient, because Ajaccio and Auxerre are in an unsafe zone. however, it could be that a team that is in an unsafe zone can sometimes surprise us. for sure, in the rest of this fight anything can happen.

Currently, table is clearly favoring Toulouse will be in middle of the league table with Ajaccio already dropped and Auxerre will also drop because their next three matches are not easy first PSG then Toulouse and last one against Lens and Nantes which was in Europa Cup as well but sadly right now struggling badly for survive is having their matches against Montpellier, Lille and then Angers mean they have two matches which can give them some hopes even right now they are trailing by one point from Auxerre and their defence and attack are much better than Auxerre but still it's all about match-day performance, and we have to wait for the end of this season for perfect results, but Nantes can stay in Ligue 1 for another season.
