This could be possible for Marseille this season, apart from that, this weekend Marseille will also face a promoted team in Ligue1 which is likely to make it easier for Marseille to get full points. There is no official news that Mbappe has extended the contract (on certain conditions) and I'm not sure that they will appear. I do not see any logic in this - why does Mbappe need this? The update was coming from most trusted person in PSG. I think that mbappe will not even try to betray him. So many speculations about mbappe was making this drama caused by the money. In my understand if PSG may have been offering him huge amounts of money to extend his contract in PSG for another year. Khelaifi was feeling sure if mbappe will stay and he will not leave from the club.

We may need to wait that until the end of transfer season. I kinda feel if there will be no offer come to mbappe till the close of summer transfer season. PSG will remain his home till next years.

Saudi clubs keep signing more players from european competitions. This league was buying the players from all the competitions. I would like to say if saudi club gonna be even more interesting compared with league 1 in the future. PSG has also wasted a lot of money caused by many players were leaving from the club with free agent. Enrique already tried to build a squad that has less valuation but the same capacity for winning UCL. The main problem if PSG wanted everything to be done instantly, and the club didn't trust the process.

Well yes but the reason is that Real Madrid saw what happened to Barcelona and that Spanish authorities do have their eyes on the financials of the clubs as it seems. Barcelona was permanently in strain to register their players if you recall. They don't want to get into trouble like Barcelona and then have to decide which player to register for the season and which player they don't register. If Mbappe costs them 250 million or more, I think they could have similar problems. Neymar's departure from PSG may benefit PSG because they don't have to pay for players who are being suspended and have a pretty bad game but when I play with Al Hilal I believe Neymar can develop and become one of the main players there.

The latest news is that it is very likely that PSG will be able to make a new contract for at least one season but with the note that next season Mbappe can be sold, that means that Mbappe is likely to leave for sure only it will not be free and we know that the possible price of 200 million is still the benchmark in terms of this, so that when Madrid's decision to wait actually won't have much effect because PSG also doesn't want to lose too much on Mbappe's departure but I'm pretty sure if in the end Madrid really wants Mbappe to become the new successor in Madrid's attack line then that price won't be be a problem for Madrid.

If Real Madrid have to spend $200M to buy Mbappe, they will give him worse salary offer which is not favorite by Mbappe. Why do Mbappe agree to sign such a contract with PSG when everything is already in his control?
