PSG has tried very hard to keep him, but Kylian Mbappe has to go to a bigger team if he wants his career to develop further. It is very difficult for him to help PSG excel on the European stage without a lot of support from other players.

PSG was lucky enough because AS Monaco once got a draw so the difference between the two teams is only 2 points, if Monaco manages to win all the matches of course the four-point difference will be burdensome for PSG, even though there are still many matches but Ligue 1 is not a league with very tight competition where the mediocrity team can pull off a lot of surprises so Monaco just needs to keep their performance up.

If Haaland becomes willing to play for a different team by the end of this season I think PSG should try their luck as well. Because there is a big difference between a PSG with and without a world star player. I'm saying this considering that Mbappe leaves the team next summer though.
