PSG have made a big change especially in their attacking line. There is a completely new trio now. They started both games without Mbappe as well. As there is no good level of chemistry yet they are having difficulties in scoring goals. They barely scored in their second game which was even thanks to Mbappe's entering the game in the second half.

Until the new attackers get used to play together PSG can continue to struggle. Enrique would try his best to solve the problems as soon as possible. He is a really good manager actually but he just needs to be patient to see the development of the team using his system.

It's not a problem if you dominate Ligue 1 even for a long time without tough competition from other teams, such as Bayern who control the Bundesliga, but the problem is that they don't build this team strong enough to compete on the European stage like what has been done by Bayern Munich in the last few seasons.

Bayern at least has consistent challenge from Dortmund and even in cups fight very hard with others but PSG can clean sweep everything if they just try.

I agree with you that the tougher the competition in the domestic league, the more motivated a club will be to improve. I'll take the example of the Premier League for example, they get tough competition from all clubs, we can't easily predict matches there, because there clubs that are considered weak can become a stumbling block for big clubs. The departure of some of the most popular players in Paris Saint Germaine over the years in this summer transfer window didn't come as a surprise to the new manager of the club and I think he knows how to manage the situation. As I posted the other day, the problem that happened to PSG was actually because they didn't score the winning goal in the opening two matches this season. if we refer to the first game and also against Toulouse, Enrique is building a system for his team's squad. at the same time, he seems to be still experimenting with rotating some of his players. and the results weren't that satisfying, even though PSG didn't play badly in the two matches they played. it's just that the problem is, they have difficulty scoring goals and winning games. although, many opportunities they have. on the other hand, the team they were playing against played with full defense. as a result, Enrique did not get the full points as he had hoped. even so, actually PSG just unlucky, IMO.

Lens only won 1 point after 2 rounds, and the goal of getting the point will be even more difficult when having to be a guest of PSG. If Mbappe doesn't extend his contract with PSG then keeping Mbappe in the squad for only one season will not be profitable for PSG. My opinion is that coach Luis Enrique should be given a chance to work with a completely new squad.
