A win or draw will get Lyon out of the temporary relegation zone this season as they are just a point away from getting out of the relegation zone on the table. The arrival of benzema can actually do a lot for Lyon especially helping them getting out of relegation this season with every good form a d been sure not to go below to the relegation again. I will love to see benzema at Lyon and hope to help them become a better team in the Ligue 1 and possibly help them be amongst top four team in the league even if not this season.

It's disgusting how Benzema behaves as a human being in many areas of life. He is full of disrespect for so many things in life and now that he tried to tune his financial situation, it turned out that he isn't good enough to support Al-Ittihad. But what is even worse is that Manchester United was considering a transfer, but thankfully they refused it since they said the 50 million salary is not acceptable. 50 million, and now he is jumping ship in Saudi Arabia. I think a player like him shouldn't be given another chance, but I guess he will find some place to still play, although not for 50 million a year. After 3 consecutive wins they got, they lost again even though it was a pretty good momentum for Lyon to get out of the relegation zone.
But looking at the difference in points they have actually they can still get out of the zone it's just that their 2 matches will now be more difficult than imagined.

Their opponents for the next 2 weeks are Rennes and Marseille. Even if Rennes this season is a little different from them last season but they are a surprise club and they are one of the dark horses in my opinion as well as Marseille who are now in decline but they are one of the big clubs in Ligue 1 so this could be a little more difficult for Lyon.

It's not true. Benzema was still useful as long as there would be a team who trust him. He has moved to the saudi pro league caused by he was willing to play and enjoy his life but things are not going well since he has got so many burden there.
Benzema needs to leave from the club in short term and lyon was in talk with ittihad to bring him back to the french league. The problem if there are some big clubs from EPL interested to recruit him as well. The chance of him to play in lyon was quite small caused by this.

Chelsea and arsenal were also in talks with benzema's agent but no final decision has made by him while we are also getting even closer to the end of season. I hope benzema will be making his final decision.

With Madrid we both know he was never a problem to anyone and all he needed was his mates to pass him the ball so he could score and place the ball at the back of the net.
