Nice won Mets today by a goal and helped them reduce the gap between PSG and Nice on the table, currently it's just a five points difference between both top teams and by two win Nice can be able to displace PSG that's only if PSG losses or draw their next two matches aswell but that's not looking possible as PSG is tough than most teams in the Ligue 1.

Nice dominated against Mets all through the game, and we're able to secure their win, Metz is just a point away from relegation, it's actually a goal because they have Lyon at the same points with them but have more his than Lyon and that's why Lyon is at the top of the relegation teams which is immediately topped by Metz. Nice have always been a better side when meeting against Metz as metz hasn't won Nice in a very long time. Metz may need to improve in their next fixtures if not they are very much at risk of relegation.

An interesting match is underway, bringing together two tough teams, namely Marseille and Monaco, the temporary score is 1-0 for Monaco win, it looks like they can confirm their position to be stronger in the top four of the Ligue 1 standings. Wissam Ben Yedder managed to score a quick goal in the 7th minute, I think it really affects the mentality of the Marseille players, there is a possibility that Monaco will win this match.

However, this match is still very long, because it has only been running for about 20 minutes, there is plenty of time for Marseille to turn the situation into a draw, and force Monaco to share the points. How time flies, the outstanding Lyon football club have decline in performance, their performance is basedly classified as mediocre when compared to elite teams that are doing brilliantly good. It's really out of shape to see a top club like Lyon fighting to escape relegation this season, meanwhile they're suppose to be fighting for the top four or better competing with Paris Saint-Germain for the Ligue One title.

But that is still not enough to improve their performance. The final result is Olympique Lyon 2 - 3 Rennes, and this result will make Lyon's position even more dangerous in the Ligue 1 standings.

The next match in Ligue 1 is Nice - Metz, what do you think about this match? Will this be an easy match considering that Nice is a top team that wants to continue to overshadow PSG in first place?

I was really surprised by the result of that match. They lost 0-3 in the first half and were only able to score 2 goals in the second half. I think Lyon will win that match because they are a strong team and have a long history in Ligue 1. I think Lyon will correct their mistakes after being on 3 wins a few weeks ago. The Marseille vs Monaco match looked quite tough with two red cards that Monaco players had to receive and this result was as I previously predicted and for Marseille, this was quite detrimental because they could not maximize their ability to score more goals even though their opponents played with fewer players. Only two were goals from nine shots on target and for Monaco, this was quite good because they could get a point even if only one from this quite tough match.

Five points doesn't sound too bad but it is actually five points plus a game that they are behind. It is one of the tougher games for PSG though as Stade Brest is ranked third, they won their last four Ligue 1 games and they haven't lost a game in quite a while. It is still a game at home for PSG though, but I have some hope that it won't be an easy game for PSG as Stade Brest has a pretty solid defense. A win for PSG would be bad to be honest as that would make it an 8 points gap between them and Nice and a 12 points gap between them and Stade Brest. In my opinion the season would be quite over by then.

Don't be too proud of Luis Enrique because he just continued everything that had been previously planned by Galtier and of course PSG will be guaranteed to get the league 1 title because they still have their flagship player Mbappe, so what if PSG loses Mbappe, will they still be worthy of leading league 1?
It's unfair if we compare PSG with Nice because these two clubs have different achievements in terms of the quality of the players are very different and their success is also very different and for me Nice is just a lucky club.
We'll see how long Nice can survive while Brest is currently in a strong state, trying to consistently add points in every match and we will be ready for a surprise Nice will be moved to 3rd place.

I once said that no team will prevent PSG from winning the league title this season. They are very strong in the league. But their real target is to win European competitions and I think fans no longer see the Ligue 1 trophy as an achievement that PSG is proud of.
